"My name is not important

"My name is – well, my name is not important. What is important is that these three CSIs will die if my demands are not met. I want Bernard Norman released from prison and found innocent of all of his charges. That is all."

The tape clicked off and left the room in unpleasant silence.

"What do we do Grissom?"

"We can't release Norman, not after what he did," Warrick mumbled.

Bernard Norman was 31 years old when he kidnapped, tortured and killed a group of children on a school trip. He protested his innocence and members of his gang lied in court, claiming that he was with them on the night in question. However, the DNA evidence was overwhelming and placed him at the scene and his fingerprints coated the murder weapons.

"We will have to find this man and stop him," Grissom muttered.

Catherine nodded, "Sara, Greg and Nick will be alright won't they?"

"Sure they will," Warrick answered, although he wasn't honestly sure himself.

"How can he sleep?" Sara asked, gesturing towards Greg.

"I have no idea. That boy could sleep on a clothes line."

Sara laughed, "Yeah."

It had been exactly 3 and a half hours since they officially went missing and, as they were regularly reminded in kidnapping cases, the first 24 hours were critical. Sara couldn't help but think of the others back at the lab; they must be sick with worry, she thought. And, although Sara had not voiced her concerns, Nick was thinking exactly the same thing.

"Grissom," Warrick shouted as he head out of the A/V lab, "listening back to the tape, Archie and I think we can hear trains."

"Good, I'll get Sara to look for places near train lines. Stay sharp Warrick, we will find them."
