To the amazing people Following this story:

There are some slight modifications. I'm sorry if I got rid of of something you liked about the story. I tried to make it more true to the plot.

Disclaimer: I do not own Bleach; I leave that all to Tite Kubo. But hey, a girl can dream.

I know that you people are awesome and nice. But still, this is my first ever fanfic so please don't judge.

She, Retsu Unohana, was tired beyond belief. She was sent earlier to the Central Great Underground Prison in order to succeed in doing the orders given to her.

'Orders,' she thought laughing to herself. 'Since when does the great and powerful Yachiru Unohana take orders?'

She began descending the next flight of stairs in silent contemplation as she reflected on her life.

'Do I regret anything? No, not really.'

'l married Kisuke (the man of my life), had a long life. I have beautiful kids Ururu and Jinta that I need to live for.'

Right when she heard that, she immediately stopped her descent. 'I really shouldn't do this. Shunsu- the Head captain She caught herself. made a grave mistake. This is a bad move. If I fight and die, the Thirteen Court Guards immediately lose their healing squadron and their defense. And if I kill Zaraki, we lose our offence. And, I have a life to live for, a family to return to.'

Still, unconsciously, she continued to climb down the stairs. "One more flight of continuing stairs… And I die." She sighed.

She didn't get much sleep last night and the bags under her eyes said it all. She had spent the night talking to Urahara (on a device called a 'cellular phone') about her decision and what might ensue. She really didn't want to do it. But, she didn't want to express concern about her orders.

Especially not to the one that gave them to her. Her husband was scared. 'I could hear it in his voice. After twenty years together I memorized him. The different tones in his voice, every curve and sharp features of his face… '

"...and, his body," she grinned mischievously. And then, there were her kids.

That's what made her sad, 'To think that I might not live long enough to see my own children grow...'
Finally, for what took forever, she reached the Training grounds. Unbraiding her long tresses as she reached the lowest floor.

Back in Karakura town...

"Jinta, Ururu! Go play outside for a while I need to talk to Urahara about something!" yelled the other owner of Urahara Shoten who was currently struggling to hear his Boss on the phone.

"But, we have nothing to do outside. And it's hot."

As soon as the young red-headed Jinta finished his whiny sentence, the door barged open and in walked the famous world-renowned, amazing, incredible...

(our sponsor, Kanonji paid to have this title for all of his introductions.)...

Don Kanonji.

"BO-HA-HA-HA! SPIRITS ARE ALWAYS WITH YOU!"

After a couple awkward and silent moments, a very tired Yuzu Kurosaki trailed behind the man. "BoHA-HaAH" she weakly panted, out of breath, said with her arms crossed over her chest.

Understanding the fact that Kanonji has super-human speed, Ururu implied that they ran.

"I am sorry to bother you at this moment good sir!" said a bowing Kanonji to a very shocked Tessai.

And then he turned to a traumatized Jinta who was currently regretting when he first joined the Karakura heroes.

"But we are in need of Karakura Red immediately." Kanonji finished, dragging a fighting Jinta out of the broken down door. With, of course, Ururu shortly behind.

... After a moment of silence from the loyal assistant shop-keeper...

'Tessai. TESSAI! What's the matter? Are you okay? Are you being attacked?...Is it Kanonji? Did he take the kids again?'

Tessai shakily picked up the flip-phone (they were too cheap to buy a smartphone) and told Kisuke that he knew it was a bad idea for the kids to join the insane group of reckless heroes.

Tessai went down to the training grounds under the small shop and Urahara told his assistant to prepare their new experiment.

"Why, may I ask? Wait, are you considering going to the Soul Society?" asked Tessai.

Urahara could hear the shock and surprise in his loyal assistant's voice.

'...Yes,' Urahara replied curtly. 'There is something no... someone there that requires my attention.'

Tessai realized what his boss meant. "You must not interfere. You can only wait for the outcome of the fight and accept the conclusion. Think about what is best fo-"

Tessai was cut off by Urahara, who was back in Hueco Mundo. 'Do you expect me to wait by patiently for the death of my wife? Yes it's true, Retsu is strong and she could easily kill anyone, but..but when it comes to losing her I'm not strong.' snapped Urahara with a quivering voice.

'If he pushes her to the limit, she might never return to kind and peaceful Retsu. Um...Anyway, we could use her in the battle..To-um-to heal.' Urahara was embarrassed at his sudden outburst and cliche speech. While at the same time, determined to save the woman he loved.

As he opened the Senkaimon that lead to the Soul Society from Hueco Mundo, Orihime and Sado ran up to him.

"Mr. Urahara...me and Chad understand why you are leaving. You go ahead and go save your wife. But...what do we do about him?"

Orihime and Chad pointed at Isshin Kurosaki who was currently rooting their portable fridge.

"Let him take anything. But make him pay for it. If he doesn't pay, don't let him leave."

They saluted him as he turned to enter the Precipice world.

"Oi, Urahara!" called out Isshin Kurosaki.

Said man turned around at his old friend's voice.

"You go save your wife."

"...Thank you. Isshin."

"Yeah, and give her a smooch. Tell her it's from me. It's been so long. She probably missed the feel of my manly body..." Isshin joked with a perverted smile.

"...you mother-"

{...we are sorry for this brief interruption...}

As Urahara finally left, the older Kurosaki was still sprawled out on the sandy floor and he was completely unconscious as Chad picked his limp body up with no trouble and Orihime rushed after Chad to heal Isshin's black-eye given to him from Urahara.
