No Way Out
She walked the streets, void of humanity. Everyone had left, too afraid to face the rising darkness. But she had to stay, had to keep fighting. It was what she did, it was her destiny. Oh how she wished it wasn't her burden. But there was no other way around it. She had to lead these girls as best she could.
She'd tried to lead them and faltered. They'd dismissed her authority and they weren't her problem anymore. So maybe there was a way out after all? She could just leave them, but no. She was needed.
