THE MIDNIGHT RIDE OF LORD VOLDEMORT
(to the tune of "paul revere" by the beastie boys)
Now here's a little story I gots to tell,
About the boy who lived we know so well.
It started way back in history,
When the dark lord tried to kill harry.
He had a petty follower named wormtail.
Just voldie and the rat, both of whom did fail.
Ridin' cross england,
Kickin' up sand.
The ministry's on their tail, so they're in deman.
One lonely dark lord he be.
All by himself with out no body.
His wand is approaching the potter's door.
James told Lily to run; she wasscared to the core.
Ready for a kill, he ran up to harry,
Voldemort did not care, he had to kill lily.
The dark lord spared harry cuz something made him stop.
Now he's got a scar that looks like lightning on his top.
His life had just begun and now he couldn't stay.
His world was gone, his parents dead, he had to go away.
Voldemort soon was weak,
And he was at his peak.
Had a chance to flee,
Did it without harry.
He had to go, he thought he'd be dead.
He got the hell out of there and this is what he said,
"now my name is voldemort, I've got a license to kill,
come join the dark side, it will give you quite a thrill,
now what do we have here?
The dark mark's very clear.
Come join me now, you deatheater, the end is so near."
He flew into the wind, he had his wand, he had a grin,
You think this story's over, but it's ready to begin.
The boy was not safe, and he had to go.
His aunt and uncle did not like him though.
Soon the time had come when harry had to go.
Then hagrid came and told hi mwhat he had to know.
He said, "you'll ride with me so I can get you to dumbledore,
He'll be after me if I don't get you there by four.
I said I'd get here.
I said I'd get there.
I said I would and I really hope you care. So…
We got to go.
I thought you should know
And right about now it's not time to say no.
The king hagrid, that is my name
And I know the fly spot where you will have much fame.
They went to the train, so he could go to school.
The fear was a comin', but harry kept his cool.
This kid was starin' cuz he knew who he was.
He took an empty seat next to harry just because.
And the boy said, "cheerie oh, im ron weasly."
He said, "nice to meet you, my name's harry."
A boy said, "get ready, cuz this is funny, his name's weasley and his family's got no money."
Out came hemione, lookin' for a toad.
She yelled, "we are here." And left to load.
They went up to dine in the great hall.
The sorting time came, and names they did call.
"oh you may not think that I'm pretty.
But your house and your future is all up to me."
The three were gryffindors, and that was nice.
The boy from before said that only slytherin would suffice.
Voldemort's powers gone, or so they thought.
Harry had to fight and he did a lot.
Harry grabbed his wand,
