A/N: This little one shot was brought on by the abuse(and I use that term lightly) that Hawkins and Ryder have gone through this past week. It just seems like this might happen sooner or later anyways.
Hawkins, Ryder and Bam Neely were sitting in catering, each one sporting a deep scowl. Every once and a while one of them would slam their hands down on the table and mutter something under their breath. Bam looked up and cleared his throat, and waited until he had both of the others attention.
"What are we going to do about this?" He asked, cracking his knuckles.
"What can we do?" Zach growled, crushing his water bottle in his hand.
"Yea, with out Edge and Chavo we aren't anything." Curt put in, looking like a lost puppy.
"Come on you guys, you were posed to take the tag team scene by storm, and now look at you, you play second fiddle to an ego maniac. You two just got your own ring gear. Not to mention that he slapped you on live t.v. and Vickie blamed you for his loss." Bam started off.
"And look at you, you piggy back someone much smaller than you to the ring." Zach spat.
"It's not like we can't make it on our own out here. I mean there are plenty of superstars that have turned on their partners, managers and/or mentors. Look at Hunter, Randy, Kane, Undertaker, Shawn. Hell even the Hardys turned on one another. Besides, there are two of them and three of us. I'm sure we could take them."
"Yea, but Edge has his ways to make our life hell. Not to mention that Chavo will have Vickie on his side."
"Come on Curt, quit being a downer. We can do this."
"Question is how?" Zach asked aloud.
"Easy, we take a few pages out of our mentors books." Bam said with a smile.

Smack Down
Edge, Chavo, Bam, Curt and Zach were in the middle of the ring. Edge and Chavo were running their mouths about their plans to get their gold back without the help of Vickie. They were too busy telling the fans about their plot that they never noticed as Bam gave the signal to attack. Curt and Zach both speared Edge down to the mat and began unloading on his face as Bam hit a german suplex to Chavo, following the hit with kicks to the mid section. Zach slipped out of the ring and returned quickly with four chairs. He tossed two to Bam and handed one to Curt. As one team they placed Chavo and Edges head on one chair and brought the others down.
The crowd went wild at the dual con-chair-tos, and the three turned around, smiles on their faces. They soaked up the fan's good feeling and left the ring, not looking back as Edge and Chavo slowly stirred. In the back they were slapped on the back and high fived by everyone they passed. As they walked back towards catering they were approached by Vickie.
"You boys did great tonight. You have done Smack Down and ECW a huge favor. Come back to the office and lets discuss your new contracts and possible story lines."
They smiled like the cats that got the cream and followed her back, feeling light hearted and free for the first time in months.
