Prologue

The 6 year old girl and boy were playing outside. They laughed as the boy chased the girl. She said to her brother, "Okay Chiro. I think we need to get back into the house. I told mom we'll be coming in soon. Okay?" The boy nodded at her and said, "Ryan, you promised to teach me a code! You know, for fun!"

Ryan smiled. "Ok, Chiro. I'll whistle this." And she whistled a four tune whistle. "And I'll do this!" Chiro said, whistling the sun-riders theme song intro. They grinned at each other, excited about their signal. Suddenly there was a crash and a bang outside. When they looked around, they saw some weird creatures made of black and white ooze. They all seemed to be looking at Chiro. Ryan suddenly grew anxious.

"Chiro, get inside the house." She whispered.

"What about you?" He whispered back, terrified.

"Never mind me, get in! I think they want us! I'll drive them away!" She hissed as she ran to their house dragging Chiro with her. She pushed him in quickly and closed and bolted the door as she said, "Don't come out, Ok? I love you." She then got hold of a long stick and faced the uglies who had followed them.

"Get away!" She shouted as she lunged at them. They simply side-stepped as she fell into some sort of a cage that snapped shut. They then opened their hands and made some weird sounds. Ryan could just make out a bit of gold and blue, before a flash blinded her.

Inside, a sobbing Chiro whistled his special tune waiting for a call.

It didn't come.

Ryan looked up in hatred at the weird guy in front of her. He had a skull for a face and claws for hands. In his hands he held a staff that seemed to ooze evil. He appeared to be in a bad temper. Next to him was a woman in black. She had pink eyes, black hair and a cold stare.

"Fools!" He shouted at the formless (She thought that described them nicely). "She isn't the one we need! You are
useless, the lot of you!" He then looked at the woman. "Can you train her?"

The woman looked at Ryan with disgust. "She is useless my lord. I have no use for her. The formless are better than her."

He then looked at her with scorn. "You are not of any use to me either! But there is someone who would require you."

A half hour later, she was standing in front of a green guy. He was dressed like a rebel biker and was ugly. The skull guy said, "You wanted a servant didn't you? Here! She'll do well for you."

The green guy said, "Thank you Skeleton King. It's quite an honour" After Skull dude left, Green guy smiled at her an ugly smile.

"Let's see what we can do with you…"
