Ino and Shikamaru pt3

"Ino" Said Shikamaru softly.

"What is it?" Said Ino not looking at him.

"Are you ok?"

"Why does it matter Shikamaru?" Ino replied but then continued on, "why does it matter if im ok or not you have never cared before."

"Look" said Shika "I have always cared "

"What are you talking about?" Said Ino confused.

"I have always cared about you. I just dont show it because I know you dont feel the same way."

"Are you tring to tell me that you love me shikamaru?"

"Somewhat." Said Shikamaru looking away blushing.

"Well shikamaru, I have always liked you but you have always been cruel and mean to me."

"That was because I was jealous of Sasuke and how much you liked him."

"I now relize that liking him was a mistake, he didnt even know I exsisted and how can I love someone who turns on the very village that took care of him, the very village he called home."

"I understand" Said Shikamaru.

"Shikamaru, tell me this, am I strong?"

"Yes, why do you ask?"

"Because when you lose someone it feels like your heart is being torn open and than you have nothing more to live for and being strong would probably help me right now."

"Look Ino your strong, beautiful and a bit bossy but I can tell you this, i have never lost anyone but if i lost you..." Then he paused.

"But if you lost me what" said Ino gazing at Shikamaru.

"It wouldnt be the same..."

Ino smiledthen said "thanks."

A few moments of silencepassed then Ino said "What will I do now, nothing will be the same without her."

"I know what your saying" said Shikamaru then said "look i dont know how it will be but just know that i will always love you and you can always talk to me when you need me."

Right after Shikamaru got finished completing his sentence he got up and left.

Ino was wordless.

Did he just tell me that he loved me thought Ino how could this be.

The rest of that night all Ino could think about was Shikamaru and all Shikamaru could think about was Ino.
