I don't claim that I own any of the Percy Jackson characters. They belong to the awesome Mr Riordan.

I was sitting on the deck chair, nervously I might add, as Mr. D dealt the cards. We were at our usual place, the Big House deck, playing our usual game, pinolche. Percy and Annabeth were off on a quest looking for Orion, so that he could help us in the War of Shadows. Cronos was becoming stronger and most of the minor gods had moved over because of fear of fading away. Actually, almost everyone at camp was off recruiting. Chiron was in Flordia asking his brethren to help, Clarrisse was off with some group fighting, and I was stuck here tending to Mr. D's needs. I was fetching and fixing, well everyone waso ut, Not that I didn't mind not being out, it was my job for Luke to spy and figure out what they're doing. I'd only just found out that they were planning something big when I was found by Grover. He, being a moronic satyr, thought I was just a lonenly, scared satyr hoping for a place of friendship and comfort. What a treehugger!

"Mr Brady, would you so kindly pay attention! I say, the satyrs in my day were never this…unhinged." Mr D told me in that annoying voice of his. The voice that usually meant; do as I say or you'll be turned into a platypus!

I looked up wide-eyed hoping he would fall for that fake crap. And as usually he did, " Now don't blubber up, you. I just want you to learn to pay attention."

I decided to stop, knowing that if I went further he might suspect something. I went my to my normal status and helped pass out Diet left me to my peace after we finished playing. I was walking by the Hermes cabin, hoping for some gossip when I was bombarded by dyrads running off into the forests.

"Stupid trees!" I cursed under my breath.

I hated it here. I was forced upon myself to be nice to peppy creatures, had to fetch for a spoiled god, and, most annoying of all, I had to feed Pollux, the guardian of the tree. The dragon shoot fire onto my hand daily, bit me, and worst of all he made a mockery of me by running away when I tried to feed him. My life at camp wasn't a modest one. I couldn't wait till Kronos takes over and burns this place to the ground.

The only place I liked out of the camp, was the lake. Every since war sprung no one's been down here, they're all making war preperations and whatnot. Out of all the travesties, there is a light occuring.

I know it's a bit short, but I wanted to see how you guys liked it. Please review, and if you must, critizise.
