1: Blood Sister

He watched the body wash up on the riverbanks, and he knew without a doubt who it was. Chuei Ying's precious blood sister. The one who Chuei Ying was hoping would give them the backing they needed.

He also knew he wouldn't be able to stop that fate. Nor could she help them, in the end. Rather, because of trying to help them, she would meet her death.

But there was a way. There was always a way, but the winds of destiny were such that they always blew tragedy to the ones who had dreams they would not sacrifice.
