I wrote this over the weekend at my grandmothers house; I hope you like it.
Disclaimer: I don't own Tristan nor do I own anything to do with King Arthur just my imagination and my words.
A Hawk's cry
In the past
I believed I loved
The man you are today
I would dance with my sisters
Proclaiming my love
To an unknown face
In the past
I would watch
As you made a game
Of throwing knives
Looking up you would catch my eye
And I would blush and look away
In the past
I would breath again
When you steped through the gate
Distant you would be for days
Until I could coax you back
And listen to your silent words
In the past
I would laugh
As you chased me through the woods
And tackled me to the ground
Where I would pout and you would smile
And kiss my frown away
At present
I stand circling around
A grave I don't understand
And a reason I beg
At present
I water the ground with my tears
A love taken so cruelly away
And a similar fate I hope
At present
I stand and listen
To a sad song
A love story gone wrong
A hawk's cry
