Disclaimer: I do not own Star Wars, Disney does.

Let's start with the one who married into the family, shall we? Padme's POV.

Peace was our answer

to questions of war,

for in the soft glow of bloom-lined streets,

the troubled soul meets

what quiet peace,

reminding of more loving days before,

in youth's warm, or love's secret hours,

and makes violent resolve to cease.

...

Such streets are ours,

streets and muted stones,

now laughing cobbles, then in figures grand

of silent marble stand

by striking palace towers,

as waterfall roar seeps into the bones

of residents, both great and small,

from washing-girls' to graceful ladies' bowers.

...

Peace be the armor now,

and courage, of my maiden heart,

memories of twilight, starlit home

carry me through the ever-deepened gloam

for, shaken to our weeping core

that our loveliness won't banish trouble's art,

I mend my shield. With unfamiliar sword

the queen of peace shall learn the art of war.
