Chapter 1: Brothers

"I'm bad, and that good. I'll never be good, and that's not bad. There's no one I'd rather be, than me." These were the first words that Ralph learned when he first attended the Bad-Anon meetings. This applied to all the new members. After Ralph defeated Turbo a year ago things changed. Everyone started treating Bad-Anon members with respect, and it was all thanks to the large good-hearted wrecker. Fix it Felix Jr. was also instrumental in the arcades growing success. Litwax was finding it hard to keep up. He had gained so much money that he decided to finally upgrade the shop.

"I'm telling you Calhoun, we need to set this up," Ralph told Calhoun at the newly formed town meeting that was held every Monday night after the arcade closed. "We need a team that will combat threats just in case another incident like the Cy-bugs happen again."

"Do you know what you're saying Ralph, if we do this, and people die, do you know what that would do to their game?"

"I'm willing to take that chance."

"He's right," Felix interjected, much to the disapproval of his wife. "Even if it's not those bugs and another threat entirely the games need to be safe, this would insure it."

Everyone clapped in approval. Felix was one of the only people besides Mario that everyone listened to when he spoke. Felix was one of the oldest hero's besides Mario in the arcade and besides he had first hand experience with the Cy-bug incident.

"All in favor," Mario spoke up. Everyone agreed in unison. "The motion is so moved. Our next order of business, Updates."

This disapproval was so loud that you could hear it all through the arcade.

"Hold on," Mario raised his voice and his hand at once. "I said updates, not upgrades. Things will be added to some games, but no game will loose it's underlying code. I will post a list of the games and the updates at the end of the meeting."

After the meeting Ralph and Felix headed to Tappers. The update came as a big shock to them and Calhoun knew that Ralph and her husband need to be alone to take it all in. Felix usually called Ralph brother, little did he know that, according to the new update, Ralph and Felix really were brothers this time.

"This is awesome," Ralph finally said after he downed most of his drink.

"I know, I'm just wondering what the new backstory will be. Would we still have to battle each other?"

"I'm sure everything will be fine," Ralph reassured Felix. "What are they gonna do, make use work together this time?"

This made Felix chuckle. Within a year they had grown close. He found that Ralph actually could give good advice from time to time. Finding out that they were now going to be brothers made him happy, after all, even though the hammer he has came from his father he never knew his father. "This is going to be interesting."

Felix finished his drink and hopped off his chair, he had to meet Calhoun for dinner. By now they had learned that their was a bigger world other than Game Central Station. Litwax had plugged his mobile device into the surge protector that housed GCS once and a new area of the station opened up. This was the point where they learned of mobile games and the idea that, even if it became unplugged, the games don't die. He waved goodbye to Ralph and headed out the door to the sim-cafe game that awaited on the device in Litwax office.
