Ok this is a HG/CD oneshot. My friend on wi-fi gave me the story and we edited it. Hope its the way he wanted it!Takes place at the yule ball. Hermione POV. When I wrote it, I had to write it on the little info my bud gave me so its kinda short and it was really hard to write.

As I walked into the room on Victors arm I looked around at all the other people around me. Ron looked unhappy. I wonder why. Victor asked me to dance. Of course I said yes. He wondered about why I was so unhappy, but didn't say anything.

This is our last dance. Ron has been staring at me for awhile now... I look over to who I really wanted to come with. Cedric Diggory. He was dancing with Cho. She was so lucky.

"Cho What was that!" I turned to see Cedric yelling at Cho. Cho Shook her head.

"That's exactly where you led me! It's your fault!" Woah. I don't think I've ever seen that look on Cedric before. That can't be good.

"Yeah well you know what? I'm finished with you!" Cho gasped as Cedric walked away. I hear the whispers start. Great. Poor Cedric he'd have rumors all over the paper with that attitude. He was a good guy though... I turned to Victor.

"Victor I'm just going to go make sure Cedric's okay. Is that alright?" He simply nodded and mumbled something about hurrying. I took off as soon as I could not hear him anymore. I needed to focus on finding Cedric.

"Cedric?" I looked out by the lake. He turned looking angry, but then his face softened as he saw me. He looked back down and I took it as a sign that I could talk to him. I slowly walked up to him. "Are you alright?" He looked away. Refusing to meet my eyes.

"I'm fine. You should go back and dance. Krum is waiting is he not?"

"Yes, but this is more important. Victor can wait. You can't." i said He glanced at me for a moment and then quickly looked back down. I tilted my head to the side. "Can I ask whats wrong? You seem irritable." i said softly He shook his head and I sighed." We won't get anywhere like that."

"That's why you should just go back to the dance. I'm simply in a bad mood is all." I tilted my face to get a good look at his eyes.

"Why are you in a bad mood?" He looked at me.

"Do you have to know everything Granger?" I gave him a dirty look.

"Yes I do. I'd appreciate it if you were to cooperate." He turned to me a look of defeat. he sighed

"Do you really want to know whats bothering me?" I nodded completely positive. He sighed and shifted so that he was closer to me and I could fully see his face. I blushed. Was he getting closer? I gulped.

"Wh-what are you doing?" Pink tainted his nose.

"Showing you why I'm so angry..." Before I knew it we were kissing. It was not a long kiss. It only lasted a few seconds and when he pulled away he was almost as red as me.

"y-you...what?" He shook his head.

"You make me so angry..." I looked up at him confused. He gave a small smile. "Krum is waiting..." I rolled my eyes and grabbed his face in between my hands.

"Krum can wait. You cannot." I pulled him into another kiss smiling. Who needed Victor anyway?

Well that's it. Its a little off from my normal style of writing, but I think its pretty good.My buddy could use some encouragement! review and tell us what you thought!
