After a short time those thoughts accumulate, however, and stir up deep emotions. It is then that the pressure must be released. People want to not think then, want to be amused. They will pay dearly for that kind of mind numbing entertainment.

Continuing through all this, the technology of the day advances if society allows it. It will advance by the means of brain-smart people of REAL science who do think a little (but probably about nothing truly meaningful).

Now all have eventually come to the absolute dependency on technology, whether it be for work, transportation, cleaning, or medicine… but most importantly, for competition and war.

This application of increased knowledge has secretly overtaken the most "advanced" society of the day. Those hyumans do not realize it though, because they do not consciously interact with the technology, they only use it.
Rest assured, the technology will soon become autonomous, self willed with its coming artificial intelligence. And then the technology will surpass its creators, the hyumans, in everything. In communication, locomotion, resources, numbers, procession of "thought." Everything.
This I, ZIM, know for sure, because this has already passed on Irk.
Our own inventions became greater than us, and then turned on us.
To compensate, ourselves had to become cyborgs (half Irken, half machine), and eventually our bodies became absolutely dependent on technology once again.

Yet, the autonomous technologies and ourselves eventually came to a compromise. To keep a check balance of power, we would reign together over a grand empire.

Not surprisingly, a social order has developed. At the top are our leaders and following are the soldiers and invaders, and at the very bottom are the drones (All the appropriate technologies have been dispersed throughout).
So then…with all that has happened… with competition spurring each other onward and with all of the advancements achieved…with all of the amazing capabilities and genius… Oh…what happened?
