Christine has left. The Phantom is alone. As he wonders the streets of Paris distraught and alone he hears a voice, a women singing. As he listens to her sing he hears the sadness in her voice. The despair and loneliness in her voice and song touches him. Feeling it is his last chance to do some good he once again becomes 'The Angel of Music'. But this time, it is he who will need an angel.
