Warning: This is a Toko aka TophXZuko fanfic. Oh and maybe some OOCness...?
AN: Okay well this is just one of my many random ideas that poped into my head. I decided to wright a somewhat fluffy Toko oneshot so the idea wouldnt be stuck in my head.
"And as always, they leave me alone..." Toph mumbled to herself.
The sun was starting to set and Aang had decided it was time to stop flying and get a bite to eat. Katara, Aang, and Sokka had already gotten theres and were sitting together laughing away as if Zuko and Toph weren't even on the team.
'Where is Zuko anyway..?' Toph thought shifting her feet to feel the vibrashions around her. Soon enough she felt him. After grabbing an apple since she wasnt very hungry, she walked a short distance past Aang, Katara, and Sokka to where Zuko was sitting alone. Deciding to sit down beside him resting her back agenst his arm. She knew he was probably annoyed by this but she didnt care.
"Hello.." Zuko said politely, looking down at Toph questioningly.
"Why aren't you sitting with the others?" Zuko asked curious.
Toph shrugged "Didn't feel like it." She said simply taking a bite out of her apple. "What about you?"
"They don't want me over there, thou there probably missing you." Zuko scoffed.
"I wouldn't be so sure sparky, its like we both don't exist to them." Toph said, her tone sounding annoyed. Like Zuko Toph also had a short fuse, but was also very possesive of what she counted as hers. So with the way the others were not including her she decided to cling on to what was still hers. Even if she wouldnt admit it, she didnt like feeling felt out.
Zuko looked from the happy group of there so called friends, to Toph who had set what was left of the apple down away from her. Then laid her head down onto Zuko's lap getting comfortable.
"W-what do you think you doing?" Zuko asked trying to sound angry, but he was thankful she was blind and couldn't see the slight blush on his cheeks.
"Dont act all high and mightly, Zuko. Were in hiding rember? So your not a prince at the moment." Toph said closing her eyes. "But even if you were I wouldnt care."
"Yeah...But that doesn't give you the right to use me as your pillow." Zuko huffed.
"Oh? and who's gonna stop me? If you did actually care you would have pushed me off, and your heartbeat wouldn't be so fast." Toph pointed out calmly, proud of her earthbending being strong enough to sense small details like that.
Zuko's eyes widened. "How'd you-...Oh earthbending..." He trailed off regaining his composer, admitting to himself her earthbending was amazing.
"Yep..now wake me up when its time to leave." Toph said slowly dosing off into a content sleep.
"Sure thing.." Zuko mumbled relaxing back against the wall behind him. 'She is pretty cute..' He thought a smile creeping across his face as she unconsciously cuddled closer to Zuko wrapping her arms around him possessively.
Zuko could help but chuckle quietly to himself at the change in Toph's actions when she was asleep, brushing bangs out of her face. He noticed this many times before when the others went off leaving them alone.
'They should leave us alone more often..' Zuko thought with a smirk enjoying himself with just watching Toph as she slept.
Sorry about it being short. but like i said it was just a random thought i had. BUT since i LOVE Toko i have another oneshot im gonna type up, which i might base an actually story on but idk yet?
