Kurt and he got along so well he thought it was because they both got picked on for being different. They got a lot closer after Kurt had stood up to Karofsky. It was only natural that people begun spreading rumors that Kurt and Artie were...together.
Even Mercedes had started to believe these rumors but whenever she would ask Kurt would give her a straight no and if anyone asked Artie another straight no. After Kurt and Artie started to be seen together less and less the rumors went down and the bullying went down a smidgen. But still there was the look that Artie gave Kurt from across the choir room or the way Kurt looked at him when Artie was with Brittany. The way Kurt jerked his hand back whenever Artie would 'accidentally' brush against Kurt's hand. Yes behind closed doors Kurt and Artie were together but it didn't last long. Kurt was the one who ended it he felt as if 'Artie was in love with Brit and never stopped and he wasn't going to get in the way of destiny' but really Kurt still loved Artie and Artie still loved Kurt.
