Annabeth watched Percy practice his sword play. The way he fought was as graceful as dancing. If Annabeth fought him she had to be careful not to look in Percy's eyes. If she did the beautiful blue green eyes would cause her to lose focus.

You're kinda reckless that you send me run-in but I kinda know that won't get far

"Hey Annabeth, wanna go?" Percy asked recklessly, gesturing to his sword.

"Sure" Annabeth replied, with a dangerous glint in her eyes.

"Ooooo Percy she is going to kick your but." somebody in the crowd shouted. Percy glared in the speaker's general direction. They got in to ready positions.

You stood there in front of me just close enough to touch

They stood face to face weapons out, circling each other. Percy swung first, Annabeth ducked and blocked it with her dagger. Annabeth seeing his strategy feinted left and pushed the hold of the dagger into his neck. With her pulling him down. Then Percy was on the ground blocking Annabeth's strikes.

Close enough to hope you couldn't see what I what I was thinkin love,

Then she looked him in the eyes and almost faltered, she kicked his sword out of reach, got up and walked away. If she had stayed and kept fighting Annabeth knew she would have lost.

Drop everything now meet me in the porin rain,

If she stayed Annabeth would have stopped fighting and kissed him. She couldn't do that with everybody watching!

Later...

"Why did you stop? You could have totally beaten the crap out of me!" Percy asked Annabeth.

"Because I would have lost my focus" she replied," I made a mistake, I looked in your eyes" she finished with a smile.

"How is that a mistake?"

"Because it makes me want to do this" Annabeth leaned in and kissed him.

When they broke apart Percy smiled and fireworks went off in Annabeth's head ah

Get me with those green eyes baby as the lights go down,

His green eyes stared in to hers and it was perfect.

Give me somthin that will haunt me when you're not around

He kissed her again and they laid down on the beach and snuggled.
