COURAGE

Courage – That I stood and fought my brother,
That I stayed alone,
That I went and gained power;
That were what I thought…
Courage.

But then I see your pain,
See your eyes,
See your mask –
And I know
That I am the fool,
That these are not courage.

Courage –
That I put a smile on every morning,
That I am left to stay alone,
That I fight for my dreams;
That were what I thought …
My courage.

But then I sense your suffering,
See those empty eyes,
See the loneliness –
And I realize
That I am the fool,
To have fallen for you.

For in your suffering,
I sense mine;
For in your emptiness,
I see mine;
For in your loneliness,
I know mine;
For we are two halves,
Opposite, yet the same.

Courage –
That I stand up for you,
That I have faith in you,
That I believe in my love
For you.
Courage –
It is not easy,
Knowing that you will hate me,
Knowing people will be against me,
Knowing that I will lose everything…
A word from you,
That is what I need
To know
That it's everything.

Courage –
For fighting with you,
For being there for you,
For falling for you.
Courage –
For facing you,
For looking at those blue eyes,
For saying
'I love you'.
A word from you
Is what I need,
To know
Coming back is everything.

I care not for what others say,
I care not for giving up my clan,
I care not for giving up my life;
For what I care most,
You, only you,
Always you.

I have always thought,
That this day will never come;
That I never will hear,
What you have just say…
A little courage –
"I love you too".

I have always thought,
You will never feel this way;
Nor say the word
That I have always long for…
Courage, open up my wings
Wrapping you against my heart.

We know,
It is never easy
This love of ours;
But as long as you,
Beside me
All are worth it.
We just need
A little courage in our life,
And a little courage
Is what we have.
As long as there is faith in us,
In our love…
Walking to the end of the earth
And back,
Going thru trials of life
With you beside me all these time
Making every steps
