Max's POV

One game of hide and seek has just completely altered my day. For the good or the bad? Well I'll let you decide. I'm stuck in the bathroom with Fang.
It all started earlier this morning, when Angel had an idea, and we were all so bored we actually decided to do it!
Here's exactly what happened:
"Maaax!!!!! I'm bored!!!!!" Nudge whined for about the eight-millionth time.
"Nudge! We all know you're bored! Could you turn the Nudge channel down just a bit?!" I cried out, annoyed.
"Well, why don't we play hide and seek?" Angel asked.
I looked at Fang, who was looking at me. He gave me one of his rare grins, and nodded.
"Ok…." I said, still a little frazzled by Fang's sudden smile.
"I'll count!!!!!" Nudge laughed out; evilly I might add too…. "1, 2, 3…"
I ran to the bathroom quickly, giggling a bit to myself. I shut the door behind me and turned the light off.
Everything was fine for a few minutes, when I heard the bathroom door open. Then it shut quietly.
"Hey." I whispered, "Get your own hiding place!"
"Max?" It was Fang, "Sorry, I didn't know you were in here."
"It's ok, just keep it down. What number is she at?"
"She was at 90 last I heard, so she must be looking by now."
I quietly listened, and soon heard footsteps coming down the hall.

Nudge's POV

"Angel? Gazzy? Iggy? Come on, they're in the bathroom now!"
The trio came out from behind the couch.
"How did you know they were both going to hide in there Nudge?" Gazzy asked in amazement.
"Because," I stated simply, "That's where they always hide first."
"Really?" Iggy asked.
"Yep." I said nodding.
I walked up to the bathroom door. "Max, Fang, found you." I called, locking the door from the outside.

Max's POV

"Dang it!" I growled.
I tried to open the door. It was locked. "Fang?" I asked, in case I ha just had a sudden lapse of strength or something, "I can't get the door open."
He walked over, giving me a mocking look, then frowning when he couldn't seem to open it either.
"They locked it." He said, comprehension dawning on his face.
"ANGEL, GAZZY, NUDGE, IGGY! OPEN THE DOOR THIS INSTANT!" I yelled, using my screechingly loud, but authoritive voice.
"Sorry, Max, but not until Fang tells you!" Angel called back with a sing-song happy voice.
And this, my friends, is how I came to be stuck in a bathroom with Fang. Now, for the good or bad? Let's find out.
I whirled on Fang. "Tell me what?" I asked venomously.
Fang backed into the wall, his hands up in self-defense. He, of all people, knew what I was capable of when I was angry.
"Tell me what, Fang?" I asked, more softly.
He stepped forward, a little hesitant. "Max, I." He choked a bit.
"Fang?" I asked, "What is it? You what?"
"I… love you…" He muttered.
My heart stopped. "I love you too." I found myself saying in a voice that didn't sound like mine at all. It was like I was underwater. This was unreal.
Fang stepped forward, and kissed me. I felt fireworks explode, all the way from my toes to my wings.
It was for the good, trust me.
