Authors note: Ok so this just came to me as I was laying in bed at 12:30 in the morning. This story takes place after the episode "Judge me Tender" and It is basically what could have happened when Oliver was walking Lilly home that night after they left Miley's house. This is my first completed story on here! Scared and Excited all in one! Anyway, Enjoy!

Oliver and Lilly had just left Miley's house and were walking the seven short blocks to Lilly's house.

"Oliver?" Lilly suddenly broke the comfortable silence between the two of them.

"Yeah, what's up Lillypop?" The teenage boy asked the girl without looking down at her.

"Did you uh…mean what you said earlier…" the blonde girl hesitated for a moment"…you know, about the whole' It's nothing without you' speech you gave earlier.

This time, Oliver stopped walking, and looked down at his girlfriend, seeing the honest uncertainty in her eyes. "Of course I did Lilly, why on earth would you ever think I would lie about something like that" he asked her in a calm voice. He was not mad about the question but, was rather surprised she would ask it.

"I don't know" She said honestly. "I was just thinking, this has always been your dream. I have only been your girlfriend for nine months. You have wanted to be a musician much longer then I have been in the picture Oliver, I just want to make sure you are doing what is right for you. I do not want to mess things up for you just because you want to make your 'girlfriend' happy." She exaggerated the word girlfriend to make it sound as though it was unimportant.

Oliver turned so he could stand in front of the girl. He looked her in the eyes and grabbed her hands in his. "Lilly, please listen to me. First of all, you have been my girlfriend for nine months, two weeks, three days, and approximately four-ish hours." She gave a hint of a smile." Secondly, if you will recall, I have only been interested in music seriously for around three years and you, Lilly, have been my best friend for way longer than three years, way, way longer than three years." He stopped and took a deep breath. "And lastly, Lilly, I love you. With all of my heart. You are THE most important thing in my life. It kills me that you don't know that or had any doubt in your mind about just how much you mean to me. You are it Lilly. You are not just a 'girlfriend' who will interfere with my future. You, Lilly Truscott, are my future."
Lilly had soft, silent tears running down her cheeks. "Really?" She asked softly.

Oliver laughed at this and threw his hands up. "Jeez, Lilly yes really!" He said loudly. Then he softened his voice. "Lilly, everything I said to you here is true. I love you and I always will and I never want you to doubt it again, okay?" He asked with a sincere voice.

Lilly quickly jumped up and threw her hands around Oliver's neck and kissed his cheek and neck repeatedly while trying to speak." Oh, Olipop, I am so sorry I doubted, I promise, I will never, ever, ever do it again."

Oliver laughed again but, this time because he knew his girlfriend was back to normal."Okay." he said."But, be fair warned, if you Ever doubt again, even a little, I will be forced to give an extremely long speech, much like the one I just gave, until you believe me again." He spoke with a hint of playfulness in his voice.

Lilly laughed into his neck and after a few minutes of standing, holding her, on a darkened street at 12:30 in the morning, he set her down so she was not supporting her weight on him anymore. He grabbed her hand in his once again and said" Come on Truscott, let's get you home."

And, as the two were hand in hand, Oliver walked the one girl he would ever love, home.
