He Took My Heart When He Left (Part 1)

BPOV

I wonder why Edward asked me to take a walk with him. I hope nothing is wrong, but I think there is something... He's been acting very strange lately. We stopped and Edward had a hurt look in his eyes.

"What's going on Edward"? I asked worriedly and he let go of my hand

"We're leaving Bella, and not coming back."

"Okay so where are we going?"

"Bella," He sighed, "Bella we are leaving as in me and my family."

"What, but why?"

"We are moving. We are already raising suspicion and Carlisle is already saying he's thirty five and people are going to start noticing we aren't aging soon."

"I'll come with you! I'll tell Charlie I'm leaving for college early."

"No, Bella. I can't let you do that. Don't you see? You are always in danger when I'm with you."

"Where is Alice and everyone?"

"They already left I'm the only one here."

"Please stay I can't live without you. I need you like you need me."

"Bella I don't need you. I don't love you anymore." The tears welled up in my eyes.

"Y-you d-don't want me anymore?" The tears I was holding in started to spill over.

"No, Bella. I don't want you anymore. I want you to have a normal life. It will be as I never existed..."

Before I could say anything he was gone. I started to run after him but I couldn't find him. As I was starting to think to give up I tripped and just laid there. I started sobbing and screamed "EDWARD!!!" But he didn't come back soon I fell asleep. I didn't know how many hours later it was but I could here people yelling my name, and dogs barking. Then I heard a familiar voice and sat up and looked around and saw a group of people. Then they left, and I heard I voice and saw a figure at the edge of the trees.
