Rory Gilmore and Zack Martin are 14 and are sitting on the couch in Lorelai's livingroom with Rory drinking a strawberry milkshake.
''so Rory what do ya think?'' he asks her
''mmm the strawberry smoothie is delicious.'' she tells him
''you got uh a strawberry stache.'' he tells her
''oh.'' she says embarrassed
''hey don't worry about it.'' he tells her and goes to pull her hand away from her top lip
''I got it.'' he says
Zack and Rory go to kiss.
''Mom in the room!'' Lorelai says
they both pull away.
''wow oh hey look at the time you're going to be late for work.'' she tells her
''oh thank you for your concern but my work is only a second away and I have a 30 second commute.'' she tells them
''well there could be traffic you know this is Stars Hollow and it is Saturday night and it get's bad!'' Rory tells her
''nice try but you know the rules.'' Lorelai tells her
''oh uh what rule the eat all the good cereal?'' Rory asks her
''no the one where you can't have a boy here unless there's a grown up in here.'' she tells her
''oh don't worry about it thanks I had a great time.'' he tells her and puts his hand out for a hand shake
they shake hands looking at Lorelai.
''yea I had a great time too just fabolous...are you trying to ruin my life?'' she tells him and looks at and asks Lorelai
Zach is leaving out the door and hears this and turns back around.
Lorelai shrugs ''it's my job!'' she tells her
''dating at 14 stink's!'' Rory says madly
''I'm not a kid anymore!'' Rory says
''I'm a grown woman a mature adult!'' Rory says madly to Lorelai
''sorry kid you just keep thinking that.I gotta get to work I love you!'' Lorelai says and kisses her head
''bye.'' Rory says
Lorelai leaves the house.
