Hey, people! I'm back!!! But this story's going to be really long. It's about Peter Pettigrew - his thoughts and life, basically.

Warning: Don't expect any updates please. Just… idk… keep this in your bookmarks and check it every year… lol. I won't really have time though, much- I always have tons of things to do.

And now… the Disclaimer!

I don't own the characters, but w/e… I don't own the world, either.

A small boy, about 10 or so, went running towards his mother as she came out of Madam Malkin's. They walked up to the ice-cream shop in Diagon Alley and the boy sat at a table while his mother went to order some ice-cream. When she came back, she had the ice-cream with her, along with a small package.

"Happy birthday, Peter! Here's your ice cream, and here's your birthday present," the mother said.

"Why is it so small?" Peter complained.

"The ice cream? I thought you wouldn't want more than one scoop, dear. Let me go get another one."

"Mother!!! You know what I mean. Why is my present so small?"

She gave a small laugh. "It's not."

At his confused look, she amended, "I just have to enlarge it. Then you'll have your present."

"Oh." He blushed. "Thank you, mother. I'm sorry."

When Peter and his mother got home, his father was waiting for him.

"Happy birthday, son," his father said.

"Thanks dad. Hey, dad, today I turned 11."

"Yes, I'm well aware of that."

"Um, well, I was wondering if…"

"…your Hogwarts letter came or not? Well, son, I have some news for you." The look Peter's dad gave Peter was enough to scare him. What if he hadn't been accepted into Hogwarts? He'd absolutely die!

"It came!" his father said a few seconds later.

"Dad!!!!!!! You scared me!!!"

"You shouldn't be so easily scared, then. A Gryffindor should posses bravery."

Now Peter's mother intervened. "He doesn't have to be in Gryffindor. And having bravery doesn't mean never being scared."

"What do you mean, he doesn't have to be in Gryffindor? Of course he does! You were in Gryffindor, I was in Gryffindor, he's going to go to Gryffindor!"

"We'll see, won't we." Turning to Peter, she said, "Peter, show your father what you got for your birthday."

"Look, dad! Mother bought me a broom!" He took out his little box. "You have to un-shrink this for me."

"Alright. Let's see then." He enlarged the box and opened it. Inside was a Comet two-eighty. "Well, very nice! Did you thank your mother?"

"Yes, I did. I wish we could afford the newest one, though. Dad, did you see the Nimbus 1001? It's the newest broom on the market!" Peter's father and mother gave each other funny Looks at hearing this, but Peter just decided to ignore it. Looks were very common in his house.

"So, dad, can I see my Hogwarts letter now? I want to see it!" Peter said, interrupting the quiet.

"Oh, yes. Thank you for reminding me. It's in my study. Come along, now."

Is this chapter too short?

I do hope you'll forgive me for putting the beginning at Pettigrew's 11th birthday, like all the stories start out. I just thought it might be easier for me to plan.

Another thing I hope you'll forgive me for is making this chapter so bad. If you find a way to fix it, please review and tell me. I'll try to update, if you (strangely enough) happen to (actually) like this story so far. I always will have room for improvement, so please help my writing be at least good enough so people of knowledge don't die from looking at my work. Thank you!
