A/N: Wrote 2007. I really couldn't figure out if I wanted it to be a Greg/Sara or a Gil/Sara so I just stuck both their names in it.

She knew she wasn't the smartest person in the world.
Or the prettiest.
Or the funniest.
Yes, she knew that she always seemed to sound bitchy and that she complained a lot. And she realized long ago that her loud high-pitched laugh could be considered annoying.
She wasn't perfect and she hated that.
But when Greg Sanders(Gil Grissom) looked at her, it was as if he was really seeing her. Like he was looking past all those imperfections and instead of finding her lacking he would smile and call her beautiful.
Oh she knew she was undeserving of him, but she couldn't and wouldn't let him go.
Not for the world.
Because when she was with him he made her feel wonderful and so sure of herself. He always only had eyes for her when ever they went out, even when more beautiful, or smarter women threw themselves at his feet. He would just walk around them.
His eyes never straying from hers.
He said he found her laugh charming. Her sense of humor, as dry as it was, never ceased to bring a smile to his face. When she complained he would only look at her and laugh, and that never really bothered her because she knew that it wasn't malicious.
He genuinely found her as cute and adorable.
As great as he is she still finds herself wary of him.
He's too nice.
Too perfect.
Too good for her.
And she knew that it was only a matter of time before he realized that too.
And then she would be alone again.
She would be found lacking again.
And she wasn't sure if she could bare to see that look in his eyes. That one that was in everyone else's. The one that found her undeserving.
But even with that fear she wouldn't let him go.
If he found her lacking later then she would deal with it then, but for right now, while he still found her beautiful she would love him.
...And pray that he would grow to love her too.
