Reaper Code

The ending of Mass Effect 3 annoyed me, so I wrote a kind of add on with more and, lets face it, probably better ending options. In this EDI will use the specific Reaper Code that we knows exists to target specifically the reapers. Assume an in game plot line where EDI has been looking into such a thing and you have been getting info from dead Reapers. Based around my F!Shepard.

AN: Alright, so I was throughly pissed at the ending of Mass Effect 3 and this is my attempt at kind of rewriting it. I will be writing separate endings depending on how much help you managed to gain and the readiness of the galaxy. Let me know what you think.

Disclaimer: I'm writing a new ending because I'm pissed at the game. Do really think that I own Mass Effect?

Shepard stared at the glowing child in front of her. The boy from her nightmare was standing in front of her telling her that she had three choices. The child was talking missing the flicker of defiance in her eyes. She pulled out her pistol and pointed it at the back of the childs head.

"I have put too much effort into this galaxy to let it go to hell now." She hissed glaring at the ghostly boy as she cocked her gun. "Fuck your choices."

"You cannot kill me with that." The child stated.

"I know." She said pulling the trigger and smirking as the bullet went through the child. "But now I know that you can't stop me from taking you apart peice by peice if it saves the galaxy."

"No!" The child screamed as I pressed a button on my headset. The child vanished.

"EDI, is that Reaper Code ready?" Shepard asked.

"Yes, Commander." EDI answered as calm sounding as ever.

"Walk me through how to do this." She demanded.

"The creator is attempting to shut down our communications, Shepard." EDI replied.

"Then tell me fast." Shepard stated.

"The panel to your left, open it."

"Done."

"You'll need to find the external input abjuring matrix."

"The what?"

"It has green wires going into it."

"Got it."

"Plug your omni-tool into it and distract the child."

"Done and how?"

"Start shooting things that look important." EDI said almost sounding as though she was happy at the thought of pissing the child off.

"Done." Shepard stated. She grabbed the pistol and shot anything that looked important, but that EDI wasn't yelling at her for considering.

"I'm done, Shepard." EDI's voice crackled in her ear. "Warning. There is not enough power for critical Citadel systems and the crucible. If the crucible is activated the Citadel will lose all life supporting systems. I have successfully blocked the child from undoing my program, but I do not know how long my defenses can hold. If I do not activate the crucible now it will break through and stop me."

AN: Alright so I will update with various different possibilities. I will write each individually to make sure that they're different. However I will not be writing a different ending for all the different races in the battle and so on. It will have a good ending, middle endings and a bad ending. Also the original "three" endings are still options instead of telling the kid to go fuck himself. REVIEW!
