Wish Me Well

Lips pressed together with passion, hands intertwined, bodies pressed together- she couldn't have imagined it better. Hearts beating fast, perspiration forming, he wanted her so badly. Massie Block and Christopher Plovert, two people so different, yet so alike. Crooked smiles and sparkling eyes, the couple was so mismatched, yet perfect in every way. They were perfect for each other, and nobody could ever come between them.

He wanted nothing more than to keep that beautiful smile on her face and keep her laughing all day long. The way she expressed herself was just so perfect: from her goofy laugh, to the faces she made, to her sarcastic comments, she was beautiful. All he could ever want was her in his arms and no matter what happened his life would be amazing as long as she was his.

She loved everything he did, from the way he looked at her, to the way he smiled, to the way he walked, to the way he laughed. He embodied perfection. Electricity engulfed her body at the slightest touch. Nobody could make her smile more than him- her happiness was in his hands. He was hers and nothing could change that.

Life had a way of making things hard and when they were forced to split apart, they tried to make it work. They tried long distance, but it was no use. It wasn't the same. College matured him, while high school kept her young. But even so, every night they'd talk on the phone, say the same 'I love you's and 'I miss you's. While it couldn't fade, each conversation made them more sad than happy.

Eventually, they had to break up and it was the hardest thing either of them experienced. He still stayed up late at night thinking about her twinkling amber eyes and her sweet, silly laugh. She still felt his warm, strong arms wrapped around her body. And neither could forget their passionate, perfect kisses. Nobody could compare to the other. Massie tried to date other boys, but none could live up to the perfection she expected. Chris tried to hook up with other girls, but no girls' hair was as soft, lips as perfect, or laughs as beautiful as hers.

Five years later they met again and the passion and the love were still there. Neither had forgotten. It was as if they had never been separated. Love engulfed them and soon enough he was hers and she was his. Marriage was inevitable, and happened within the year.

They kissed once again and nothing had felt as perfect and as right as that fateful kiss. It sealed their future and their love and everything that was meant to be. Because nothing could ever break them apart, for they were meant to be.

Forever and Always.
