A short drabble on how I picture White/Hilda/Touko to be like. This is my first Pokemon fanfic, so don't be too ruff.

As a pokemon trainer, I know symbols were important. Pokemon symbolized friendship, gym badges signify strength, and my bruises and cuts show endurance. Sometimes, when my mind wander aimlessly, I even notice the symbols others.

Ever since I've known him, Black has always worn a little pokeball charm around his neck. Because I've known him so long, I've heard the story behind it. He told me that his father gave it to him right before his death. He was devastated by the tragedy, deciding he would wear it everywhere he goes. Family was always a big part of Black's life, even before the accident.

If you've been around her, you know that Bianca will always play with her plushies when she feels under par. Hosting tea parties is great and all for little girls, but Bianca is almost 20! I've tried to talk sense into her, but she refuses, saying that it's "perfectly normal". The childishness of it all perfectly reflects her personality; childish and naive. Sadly, she constantly tries to defy growing up and conforming to society.

White is another story entirely. The color white is suposed to represent innocence, snow, and cleanness. Yet when you look at White, there is no representation of any of it.

Even when she was little, White never had a problem with getting dirty. She would always be the first one stomping through the mud after a rainstorm, flinging mud balls at near targets. At least now she tries to stay clean, although ultimately failing.

Despite knowing each other since birth, Black and White only started dating recently. The day I found an empty box of home pregnancy tests and condoms in her room, I nearly had a heart attack! Thankfully, she was in the bathroom when I made this discovery. But when she came back and I was blushing redder than any tomato, it earned me several confused looks and questions.

On any given summer day, all your favorite Unova pokedex owners, including yours truly, can be found at the nearby lake. Obviously, I usually do the smart thing and study the water-type pokemon in the lake. Meanwhile, Bianca would splash in the water with her various blowup pokemon dolls and Black liked to battle the nearby pokemon, easily defeating them. Lastly, is White. She liked to lay out in the sun all day and tan. Despite her skin being so pale, she spends every possible moment sucking up the sunshine. She always hated the cold, which is one of the reasons why she and her family moved down south.

Even now, as I watch her feed her Samurott, I feel like there is something I'm missing. The way she not-so-secretly starts flirting with Black when she thinks our backs are turned, or the way she wears a freaking parka if the temperature gets below 70 degrees. As I think about it, maybe it's better she doesn't mold to society's expectations. Instead, being who she is. White.
