It began with a lonely boy crying and a lonely girl who didn't want the boy to cry. So the girl told him about the world she had created that was better than the Muggle and Wizarding world.
Every day she told him more and more about the world until he became a part of that world too.
At first it was little things that changed like the sky being purple instead of blue and the grass being red instead of green.
But then it was everything that looked different to how it used to, things tasted different than how they used to and people were no longer people. They were cats, snakes, birds, dragons, badgers and bats.
The pair would pretend they were studying the animals and that's why the animals were in their world.
Sometimes the grown-up animals would try to keep the pair separate because they believed that their friendship was unhealthy, but apart, they became uncontrollable and very difficult so their separation never lasted long.
The children, animals were often horrid to them and thought them weird, but it never bothered the two.
They'd just retreat further and further into their world.
AN: I have no idea where this story came from or whether I'll turn it into a full length multi chapter story or not. It kind of depends on the feedback I get for this.
