Tick, tock ... 11:55 o'clock... Tick, tock... 5 minutes to go!
I fluttered about the sparse space, desperate to see the amiable creature of such delicate beauty and angelic splendour. Frantic to see me lover... my everything.
The impatient silence crowded me as I flapped around like a mad man who was pacing the lengthy distance of a platform, tapping his feet, antagonising the arrival of his own lover.
Tick, tock... 11:59 o'clock... Tick, tock... 1 minute to go!
The silence tortured my ears as I gazed in hopeless longing at the petit, wooden house before me, anticipating her grand entrance. The inanimate object was quiet, alike my lover, small, delicate and perfect in every way.
Any second now, I'd see her again, my beautiful love.
Tick, tock... 12:00 o'clock... Tick, tock... It's time!
The sultry sun burst through the window as my lover, at long last, emerged.
I hovered about her, twittering fruitlessly my adoration to her, doting on her every move, showering her with my love. She was indescribable. I loved everything about her, her punctuality, her gentle coo, and her restless behaviour. I loved all of her, every last inch.
Alas, our time together was brief and swiftly came to an end. With one final 'cuckoo', she disappeared back into her small, delicate but perfect wooden house.
I remembered however, with a jolt, that I would be seeing her in an hour and I chirped happily at the delightful prospect.
Tick, tock... 12:01 o'clock... Tick, tock... 59 minutes to go!
Hey guys! So I'm aware this was totally weird, regardless I think it's also mildly cute. As some of you may be able to tell, it's based off of that episode in Season 1 when Ally briefly mentions that Owen, her pet bird, had fallen in love with the cuckoo clock bird. (At least, I think this happened, it's been so long since I've seen any season 1 episode, can't believe they're on the last season now - excuse me while I cry). I'm super happy they won the best kids TV show and best actor/actress. It's slightly surreal, but definitely an appropriate and worthy send off. Anyway, it's also boosted my inspiration which has been running dry as of late, revision and work take up most of my time now and when I'm not, I'm often spending time with my family because I'll be going to university next year (Woohoo)!
Despite the excuse though, I owe all my dedicated readers a major apology for my lack of updating. I kinda just bunged this on to discourage you from thinking I was; a) dead, b) given up on writing fanfiction. I fully expect to complete every material I currently have ongoing and I am hopeful to adding more because I have loads of ideas, mostly one-shots. I want to thank you all for your patience with me, and I really hope you are all still interested in reading what I have in the works, present and future.
However, I do need to tell you guys that Best Friends Sister is currently on hiatus purely because I have no idea where I'm going next with it. If you guys have any suggestions (preferably reasonably unique) I would really like to hear them and I would obviously give you the credit. I don't want any cheating or pregnancy on either Austin or Ally's part but I would like something dramatic and yet still reasonably realistic.
