Ron, Hermione, Harry, and Ginny all share an apartment since they thought it would be easier to pay for.
Hermione and Ron are snogging on their bed, Ron's fingers running through her hair, Hermione's fingers running through his, both knowing not to go too far.
They both felt someone else's presence in the room but didn't want to say anything, thinking the other would think they're mad.
But they were both correct; there was, in fact, another person in the room. It was Harry; he was across the way, at their desk, reading the Daily Prophet from under the invisibility cloak.
Neither Ron nor Hermione had noticed the page flip every now and then, for they were too involved with each other.
After Harry was done reading, he turned around and noticed them snogging.
He immediately flipped the cloak off and started talking, "And what do you two think you're doing?"
Ron and Hermione immediately sat upright. "Us? Bloody hell Harry! What are you doing in our room? We both agreed when we got this apartment you would stay with Ginny and I would stay with Hermione." Hermione perked up when she heard this. "And Harry, don't act so surprised," Hermione added on, "you've known about this since the end of the war with Voldemort!"
"Right, sorry. Ginny's out getting some food. I thought I might as well read the newspaper."
"It's about time we got some food!" Ron added.
At this comment, Hermione rolled her eyes. Typical, She thought, all he ever cares about now is his precious food…
"I'm sorry if I want to spend the rest of my life with you Hermione," He looked at her straight in the eye. "but, in order to do so, I have to eat my so called 'precious food'" This little comment made Harry and Hermione laugh.
Although Hermione thought it was rather peculiar for Ron to know what she was thinking, she didn't let it bother her. Instead, she snuggled up next to Ron, who laid his arm around her.
During that awkward moment of silence, Ginny came back with all of the groceries.
Harry immediately got up and greeted her with a nice kiss on the cheek. "Oh? And what do I owe you this time?" She asked, a warm smile appearing on her face. "Nothing." Was all Harry responded with.
Then Ginny noticed Ron and Hermione in their room through the half-open door in the background.
"I see now…" She said in a whisper, a slight smirk across her face.
