INTRODUCTION: PROLOGUEA fairy is the only known spirit of the wind, Mother says. "Fairies are always watching and they are the most peaceful creatures on earth… Unless their soldiers are up in the war too," Mother always said. When she died it was the hardest thing for me to handle. My grades flunked and I couldn't get into a good school for High school. But when she died she left everything to me. The house, the car, and the secrets… All belong to me. She had always asked me what I would do if she passed away. I always would say that it will never happen. She would then always take me in her arms and say softly "It's coming quicker than everyone thinks," and it would always bother me because I would never know what she meant. Until the Month she died… Everything took a mystical turn.
CHAPTER 1: THE REALIZATIONIn the middle of class yesterday I was told that I needed to come down to principal's office but, on my way there, I was told by my best friend Andrew that it was him. "I need the good grades though, Andrew," I said with a hint of sarcasm. "It's just time to tell you something very important," Andrew said with an emotion I've never seen before. He grabbed me by the arm and guided me by the waist. I couldn't help but feel safe at that moment. I've had a crush on Andrew since last year and I have been scared to tell him I do. He dragged me into the boy's locker room and began to take my jacket off. I took a huge step back.
"What are you doing?!" I yelled at Andrew. "Oh! Don't get the wrong idea; I just wanted to show you something!" "First tell me and maybe I'll agree,' I said with no emotion in my voice. "Ok. Here goes nothin'. You are part Fairy and part Human."
"WHAT?! How do you know and they don't even to exist." "To be precise they do exist and to be more precise, you… kind of… are their… Queen…" What there is no way I am a queen of fairies. My mom used to always talk about them but never told me they actually existed. "So, how do you know this info and can you prove it?" I had asked him the most usual things to ask in this precise situation. "yes, let's start with proof," He grabbed my hand and pulled me to him. We began to waltz. I didn't know I could waltz, I only knew I could hip-hop.
"Only fairies naturally know how to waltz," he said with a sly smile. "But this could be luck" then he took my hand and stopped us from spinning around the locker room and then took of my shirt so only my bra was showing. "What's your problem!" As I yelled, a tattoo suddenly appeared on my arm and was glowing. It was a purple like periwinkle and had an outline of navy blue. "This begins to glow when you come into contact with another fairy." I was shocked… "You're a fairy?" I needed to sit so I sat on the bench that was directly in the middle of the locker room. "Yes, If what you mean by fairy is that I came from the land of Faery then yes I am," he said sarcastically.
"Oh, one more thing… You have magic powers. Once you come back to fairy you will have a choice between Earth elements and if you're really lucky… Maybe the God's magic. So you can choose between Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Ice, and just maybe God's magic which is the strongest magic known. It runs in your family and includes all earth magic but is 100 times stronger than just a normal fire power." I thought for a minute. "Wait… was my mom-" he interrupted me. "Yes, your mom was the original queen of Faery. But since her death and the beginning of this war-" "What war?" I asked in shock. "I will explain when we get there, Oh, you need to recite this exactly as I say it." "Irasanaduclasia!" I chant and there are 3 doors that appear. I am led through the middle one. It is labeled "Faery".
