Ziggy stood in Dr. K's lab, tapping his fingers on his leg. After they had gotten back from their first battle with the robotic Venjix, all the rangers were running around trying to figure out what they were up against. Once they had all cleared out of the lab, Ziggy had stayed behind.
Dr. K looked up from the keyboard she was pounding away on and stood up. "Did you want something Ranger Operator Series Green?"
Ziggy perked up. "Actually I did."
Dr. K gave him a pointed look.
"I've just been noticing something about the attack bots we've been fighting." He rushed in front of her desk holding his fingers together. "Every time we fight, and I'm one on one with them, they never just hit me once and throw me aside like the others. They always keep me around longer; get more punches in before getting rid of me. Every single battle the bots do the same thing."
Dr. K shook her head with vacant eyes. "What's your point Operator Series Green?"
Ziggy looked somber. "They go after me because I'm weak don't they?"
Dr. K was surprised by Ziggy's sudden attitude, normally he was so happy and care free. "Do you not consider Ranger Operator Series Black as a true friend?"
"Yeah, why?" Ziggy furled his eyebrows.
"Wouldn't he be more suited to have this conversation with you than myself?"
"Dillon would just say I'm imagining things; that the bots go after everyone, and it just seems like they choose to pick on me more."
"Then again I ask Operator Series Green; if Series Black would have this conversation with you, why talk to me about it at all?"
Ziggy looked her in the eyes. "Because I know you would tell me the truth. Do you think they attack me like that because I'm weak?"
Dr. K looked at him for a moment before answering. "It would appear that the Venjix attack bots do single you out from the others because they see you as the weakest member of this team, and therefore the easiest threat to disable."
Ziggy looked sad, but nodded. "Thank you for being honest with me." He knocked on her desk before walking away."
"Ranger Operator Series Green."
Ziggy turned around.
"The Venjix attack bots may attack you more because you are not the strongest member of the team, but you are by no means weak." She gave him a small smile.
Ziggy was taken back a little. He returned her smile and nodded before walking out of the lab to join the other rangers.
