Six Coming In to the Story
Six's POV
As they near the door, you can tell they are both nervous. Four reaches for the door when the girl reaches for his hand. When his hand is an inch away I run and grab, them both still invisible and cover their mouths with my hand. He tries to scream and he starts to struggle, so does the girl. Four is still struggling and the girl is breathing heavily when he tries to free himself but cannot under my grip.
"Shh, stop struggling," I whisper in his ear. "They're out there waiting. Both of you have to be quiet," I whisper talking about the Mogodorians. I loosen my grip when he turns to face me. We take each other in above the glow of his hands I see a slightly younger face than mine. Clear, blue eyes, dirty blonde hair, good body structure, wide mouth, and strong nose.
"Who are you?" he asks
I look to the seeing if anybody is around before I give my answer, my identity, my only tie to our planet.
"I am Number Six," I say. "I tried to get here before they did."
"How did you know it was me?" He asks.
I look to the door. "I've been trying to find you ever since Three was killed. But, I'll explain it all later. First, we have to get out if here."
"How did you get in without them seeing you?"
"I can make myself invisible."
He smiles. I know that it was the same Legacy as his grandfather had. Invisibility. The ability to make the things you touch invisible as well.
"How far do you live from here?" I ask.
" Three miles from here."
I nod through the darkness, even though he cannot see me.
"Do you have a Cepean?" I ask.
"Yes, of course. Don't you?"
He just had to ask that question. Truth is that my Cepean, died three years, Mogodorians captured her.
"I did." I say. "She died three years ago. I've been on my own since then."
"I'm sorry'
"It's a war, people are going to die. Right now, we need to him out of here or we will die as well. If they are in the area, then they are already there, so it is pointless to try to be secretive once we are out of here. These are only scouts. The solders are on the way. They have the swords. The beasts will not be far behind either. Time is short. At best, we have a day. At worst they're already here." I finish.
