What Easter is really about :) R&R and Happy Easter and Good Friday everybody!
What do you first think about
When I say
Easter?
One might say eating ham
At dinner that night.
Another might say
They go Easter egg hunting
or dying the eggs bright colors.
But what is Easter really about?
It is all about one man's name -
Jesus
He died on Friday
Died the death of a real criminal
When he was just preaching the Word of God
But on the Thrid Day
Just like He said
He rose from the dead
No tomb could hold Him
And even 2,000 years later
He is still alive
In us
Through the Holy Spirit
So why are being fools?
Ignoring the Glory of God!?
When we should be prasing Him!
He is our hero
Who freed us from the heavy
Chains of Sin
So what are we waiting for!?
Our Savior has risen!
