Good Times

She looked out from my balcony. The wind softly blew her hair to one side. There air was cool, the night sky, shimmering with the light of the stars. Away from the sounds of the city, the sounds of the war. The last sound she heard was the sounds of the ships engines dieing down and slowly leaving my earshot. There were only the two of us here. Just the two of us, spending time together. Together at last after along and hard five thousand years. "Hey. You hungry?" He asked me. "Yeah, I guess I am.." She responded, not taking my eyes off the stars "What's wrong? You seem upset." He asked me, taking concern and coming closer. My eyes still stayed glued on the stars. "I don't know who I am anymore. I just don't know." She confessed. "I'll tell you who you are. You're the one I love, and all ways will love. No matter what they called you, you will always be my Elly." He said as he wrapped his arms around my waist. "Fei.Lacan, Kim." Elly answered "Fei will do, just Fei." Fei answered. Elly turned around and looked up into Fei's eyes. Fei smiled at the beautiful auburn-haired angel in his arms. She smiled back at him. "Come, let's go inside, it's warm in there." Fei said. He knocked out Elly's legs with his feet and picked her up like a groom carrying is bride across the threshold of their new house. Elly giggled and Fei touched his nose to hers and smiled. He set her down the bed in their room. He laid to her right. Holding her to his chest. "When you looked at me for the first time, what did you think?" Fei asked. Elly looked at him, and rolled over to face him. "I knew I knew you from somewhere, I knew that I had a strange feeling about you. The name Lacan kept ringing in my head and I saw you painting. I didn't know what, but I was confused. When I learned that you were Lacan, I was instantly aware that I loved you. I always did love you, but it never came to my attention. I thought about it, all the time, when we spent time together, when we fought each other on the mountains." Elly said, she didn't make contact with Fei's eyes. "When I looked at you, I was amazed at you beauty. Even when I didn't know I existed before hand. Elly, I never told you, but I love you." "You told me in Xenogears when you saved me." "Well then I never did this." He put his lips to hers and kissed her passionately, a kiss that was shared one other time. While doing so, he removed a box from his pocket, withdrew from his kiss and said "Will you marry me?"
