"Sora...you didn't need to kill her..."

Kairi didn't know why, but as she stood there, chatting happily with both Sora and Riku, she could feel herself growing agitated. The three of them were all eating ice cream: Riku had vanilla, Sora had sea salt (for some reason he had grown a taste for it), and Kairi had chocolate. It had been about a month since the defeat of Xemnas and the end of all of their crazy adventuring. Now back on Destiny Islands, they could hang out on their private island again. It seemed like everything was finally back to normal, but now Kairi was beginning to hear these voices in her head.

The voices of Namine.

"I know you meant well, but...I loved her, Sora. She loved me too."

Kairi's grip tightened on her ice cream cone. She bit lightly on her bottom lip. Sora looked over in her direction.

"She didn't mean to hit me. She was just really angry; she had a bit of an anger problem, but she'd never hit me on purpose. It was all just an accident. If you had given me time, I could have calmed her down. I guess, considering the Nobodies are viewed as 'evil', and you're the keyblade master, she was going to be killed at one point...but still...she made me feel like I really had a heart, and I know I did the same to her..."

"Uh...Kairi? You okay?" Sora asked with a hint of worry in his voice. Riku didn't say anything. Tears were forming in Kairi's eyes as she stood there in an awkward silence.

"I thank you so much for saving me and all of the worlds, Sora, but...at the same time...I can't forgive you for killing Larxene...the woman who meant everything to me...I miss her so much, every day, that I sometimes can't stand it..."

"You killed my...Larxene..."

"...Larxene..."

Sora cocked an eyebrow. "Larxene? Kairi, who's Larxene?"

Suddenly, without warning, Kairi raised her ice cream cone high in the air and slammed it onto Sora's head, covering both his hair and face with chocolate ice cream. Riku fought back the overwhelming urge to burst out laughing.

"You're...you're such a jerk, Sora!!" Kairi exclaimed, her face red, and she spun around and stormed off in a huff.

Sora blinked twice. 'I'm...a jerk?' he thought, wiping the ice cream out of his eyes.

"BWA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA....!!!" Riku was unable to hold it in any longer.
