Hello is my first Power Rangers story even though it has been on Fanfiction for a while now. I was never really good at doing this but I write when I have time with school and all. (God, I'm so embarrassed at the amount of time there was from when I posted the first chapter to now) (New Note: This is all edited, so, enjoy)
The Brewer sisters are the most powerful ninjas known to the whole Ninja world. Being apart of the Eclipse Academy means that the ninjas are told as legends. Unknown to the other academies. But when Lothor finds the mysterious Academy, he attacks without hesitation. That brings the most powerful school to an end…so he thought.
Ninja Storm: Rise of the Eclipse- Chapter 1: Rise of the Eclipse

" Let's go." 16-year-old Lucy Brewer yelled to her older sister, Crystal. The 18-year-old girl was taking longer than Lucy had expected. They were already going to be late and Lucy didn't want to do extra laps around the entire school grounds. " Sensei will yell at us for this." She grumbled. She shifted her weight to the other foot and started to tap the top of the bannister.
" Fine," Crystal muttered as she jogged down the steps. She hopped off the second to last step and landed without falling to the ground. Lucy rolled her eyes.
That was the thing that separated the two sisters. Crystal as graceful and elegant and Lucy was uncoordinated and always falling over. It wasn't something that Lucy noticed for et first time. All throughout their lives, Crystal has been the elegant one with Lucy trying to follow. She often fell short.
After grabbing her keys, Crystal led Lucy out to her car and both climbed in. " Anything happened at school this year?" Both sisters were out of school but Crystal graduated and Lucy was heading into her senior year. Their school had gotten out earlier than any other school.
Lucy looked over at her sister and studied her quietly. Finally, she answered. Her sister had an oval face with a small nose, steel grey eyes and prominent cheekbones. Her skin was tanned and her nose covered in freckles. She stood at around 5'5. She had back length wavy dirty blonde hair. It was usually in two french braids or a ponytail.
Crystal pushed one braid behind her shoulder as Lucy glanced at her again. Crystal had a plethora of piercings on her ears. Her most prominent one was a bar across the top of her ear, a sun sat in the middle.
Lucy reached up and felt her own ears. She only had a double lobe piercing but she always asked to get more. She had an oval face with a medium nose, mixed brown eyes and her skin was also tanned. She had freckles scattered around her face. She stood about 5'3. She had shoulder length light brown hair. She had it pulled in a half ponytail most of the time.
" Brian decided that he was going to be a butt and start hanging out with Connor McKnight." Brian Albright was Lucy's ex-boyfriend. He dumped the poor girl to be apart of the popular gang. The young Brewer was okay with that because she knew from the start that it wasn't going to last.
" Oh, he wasn't a good boyfriend anyway." Crystal chuckled. She turned down the dirt path in the forest. Lucy smiled. She leaned against the window of the car. After a few minutes of watching the trees whip by, Lucy was jolted from the daydream she was in. She watched as Crystal stopped the car and slid out of the seat. Lucy unbuckled and slid out of the car as well.
Crystal was the first to reach the large rock formation that sat in the woods. it was engraved with a yellow and white sun that was pattered to match the white and purple moon on the other side. Underneath the swirled sun and moon were the words 'We live by the Sun. We feel by the moon.'
Both girls grabbed their clothing and pulled them off to expose ninja suits. Crystal's ninja suit was black with the top hanging a little lower than the waist. The lining of the suit was light grey and there was a patch on the left side below her collarbone. The patch was outlined in orange and in the middle was a sun with a white middle and dark orange tips.
Lucy's ninja suit was also black with the top hanging over the pants. The lining of the suit was a royal purple and had a patch under her left collarbone. The patch was outlined in black with a white crescent moon in the middle behind the moon was a royal purple.
After stashing their clothes in the car, the two sisters walked into the formation. As soon as they walked in, they were hit with the smell of smoke. The beautiful deep brown oak, scorched black. The paper-thin walls broken and torn open. Light grey and royal purple banners burned with thick flames. Lucy snapped her head toward the movement she saw. She dashed over and to the body, Crystal following her. Both sisters picked their way through the rubble to expose the battered form of their sensei.
" Girls." She gasped, reaching up and taking both their hands. Crystal dipped her head to get a closer look at her sensei.
" Sensei Hamato, what happened here?" Lucy asked, tears filling her eyes. She didn't was Sensei Hamato to die. Not after she was interested to take care of the two of them.
Sensei Hamato inhaled sharply. " My dear daughter." He inhaled once more. " Lothor attacked as I had predicted." She sighed.
" Does this mean…?" Crystal's voice trailed off. Sensei Hamato nodded, glancing up to the blue sky.
" I thought that I could protect you two in the academy but I guess I could not." Sensei Hamato breathed out. Crystal deeply inhaled. She turned and looked over at Lucy. " You two know what to do." She breathed shallowed. Crystal and Lucy stood but not before kissing the older Sensei on the forehead.
" May you rest in peace." Crystal breathed. The blonde led her sister away from the body to Sensei Hamato's office.
It was a fairly big office. A large window covered the wall that was opposite to where the sisters were. The blinds were drawn closed, hiding the outside destruction. On the back wall, three large, older looking bookcases stood. They were covered in books and papers but what made Lucy curious was the open space in the middle.
The books on either side were held without obstructing the view of the large, button attached to the wall. On the other wall were pictures of Sensei Hamato with different people. The middle one was of the sister's parents with the younger version of the girls. Lucy was just was a baby and Crystal was a few years old. There were other people but neither of the girls knew them.
In the middle of the room was Sensei Hamato's desk. There were papers scattered all over the top of the desk. There was an older model computer sitting in the corner. There were pens and a name plaque in the middle.
Crystal walked over to the button and pressed it in. The bookcase covered door slid open. Exposing the dimly lit hallway with steps winding down to the bottomless pit of darkness.
" Are we going down there?" Lucy asked. Crystal smirked. " I know I am supposed to be a Child of the Night but still." Crystal lifted her hand. A ball of light creating a soft glow against the dark stone bricks that lined the stairs and hallway. As they headed down the winding stairs.
" Welcome to the Chambers of the Masters." She pushed the stone door open, revealing a medium sized room decorated with hues of purple and grey.
Two flags hung on the opposite wall from the door, symbolizing the two academies that were there. Between of the two flags was a flag that had the same carving as the rock formation. In the middle of the room, two deep cherry brown polished cases sat on a small table with a note sitting in the middle. Crystal and Lucy both looked at each other. They walked to the cases. Crystal picked up the note between the two cases and read:
To my students,
Within each case, there is a special wristband called a morpher. Each morpher has a power disk that allows the user full access to the powers of the Eclipse Academy. The chosen two must not take the power of the morphers lightly. Protect the morphers and represent the academy with grace and power. Find your inner spirit and protect the world from the evil that lurks in every corner. Thank you for taking up the task.
Sensei Hamato.
At the same time, the sister opened the cases. Crystal picked up her morpher. It was a black and gold slim rectangle with a grey wristband. A grey coin sat on the top of the morpher, a phoenix carved in it. A partial sun sat at the very top of the morpher, near the wrist.
Lucy's morpher was also a black and gold slim rectangle with a grey wristband. The coin was purple with a carving of the wolf on it. Just like the sun morpher, a rising moon sat at the wrist end of the morpher.
" We have to get out of here." Crystal breathed as they both strapped the morphers on. They jogged up the stairs, both taking two at a time to get out. Rushing out of the buildings, they dashed through the grounds to the entrance. Crystal stopped at the entrance. She promised that she would return to bring the Academy to life once more.
With that promise in mind, Crystal and Lucy left the Academy.
Once out of the Eclipse Academy, the girls quickly changed. That ended with Lucy putting her shirt on backwards and Crystal laughing about it. They started their trip to Blue Bay Harbor.
After a few hours in Blue Bay Harbour, the two managed to find the entrance to the Wind Academy. They walked in to see the Academy in the same shape as theirs. They looked out into the gravel lot to see small flames still burning. Thought the flames, they found a silver chain attached to a concealed door. Crystal yanked it open and snuck into the underground area with Lucy following her. They watched as three ninja students standing behind a boy dressed in green and a guinea pig.
The guinea pig flipped on the monitor and said " This Lothor, once a great ninja. He was banished from the Earth when his hunger for power turned him to the dark side." He explained. "When our energy fields collided, I was transformed into what you see now. Now that he is back and has an army and will do anything to take our planet. Unless they are stopped in the first place.
" Who's going be dumb enough to stop them?" The shaggy-haired boy in yellow asked. Everyone glanced at him, turning to the guinea pig and the boy in green.
" Excellent question Dustin." The guinea pig answered. " The morphers Cam." Instead of waiting any longer, Crystal and Lucy snuck out of the cave.
" What do we do?" Lucy asked. Crystal grabbed her wrist and pulled her to the trees. " Oh." She whispered.
After a few more minutes, Crystal and Lucy watched as the three ninja students from the cave rushed out of the door. The sisters came out of the trees and followed them.
Ninja Storm, Ranger Form.
Crystal heard as she dodged behind trees and other large rocks to get a good look at the attack. The red ranger wore a red uniform. Markings of the hawk were evident in the sides of the helmet. Fish-netted arms meet the red gloves. Red pants matched the red boots. His helmet was red that matched with the suit.
" Air." She muttered. Lucy raised an eyebrow at her sister's words. She watched as the girl with the two men. She wore a blue uniform. Markings of the dolphin were evident in the sides of the helmet. Fish-netted arms and legs met the blue skirt and blue boots. Her helmet was blue that matched with the suit.
" Water," Lucy mumbled. Crystal nodded to agree with her. " We need to get down there." The two sisters looked at each other. They nodded and stood up.
Eclipse Storm, Ranger Form!
Crystal spun her power disk and was then was surrounded by a light yellow and orange twister. Her ninja outfit shattered to reveal a light grey uniform. Markings of the Phoenix were evident in the sides of the helmet. Fish-netted arms and legs met the grey skirt and grey boots. Her helmet was pure grey along with the suit. The phoenix wing was on the chest and the head of the Phoenix was on the gold disk above the visor. A rapier appeared attached to her hip.
Guardian of the Blazing Sun.
Lucy spun power disk and was then surrounded by a purple and black twister. Her ninja outfit shattered to reveal a purple uniform. Markings of the Wolf were evident in the sides of the helmet. Fish-netted arms and legs met the purple skirt and purple boots. Her helmet was medium purple along with the suit. The Wolf's head was on the chest and the complete Wolf was on the gold disk above the visor. A rapier appeared attached to her hip.
Guardian of the Shining Moon.
The two sisters nodded once more. They jumped off the cliff, landing in a crouching position in front of the monster. They stood and pulled out their rapier. They attacked the monster with their ninja streak.
" Who are they?" the blue ranger asked her team. Crystal watched from the corner of her eye as the two guys shrugged. " Did you guys ever hear of a Grey Ranger and a Purple Ranger?" She asked once more. Crystal slid in front of the three with her rapier level.
" Don't you have special weapons?" Crystal snapped. The three nodded, pulling out the weapons.
" Cut it blue, dude." The yellow-clad ranger called out, banging his hammer against the rocks. He lifted it up and slammed it down once more.
" Time for a little work out." The blue ranger lifted her megaphone to where her lips would be. " And one and two, and work those abs and work it."
" Is it me or are you hot?" Red asked, raising his air gun up. He pushed the trigger and shot the currents of air at the monster. The monster landed on his back with a hard thud.
Crystal charged the monster once he stood. Her rapier grew white as she slashed down on the monster. She flipped back as the creature tried to attack. She landed in a crouching position as Lucy jumped up.
Lucy's feet landed on Crystal's back. She flipped and slammed her rapier against the monster. He growled. Lucy's blade turned a royal purple. She swiped across the monster's stomach, causing sparks to fly. The monster fell to the ground in a flurry of sparks. He exploded with Lucy facing the rangers.
" Identify yourselves," Red ordered. Crystal glared at him under her mask. " Now." He demanded. Lucy turned her helmeted head over to Crystal, who nodded. They turned around and walked away before streaking out of the quarry.
" Who are you?!" Yellow yelled. Crystal stopped at the top of the cliff. She turned her helmeted head to glance at the three rangers over her shoulder. She rolled her wrist and shoved her blade in the sheath on her back.
" We're friends."
