This is supposed to resemble the White Side from Fire Emblem: Fates. o u o Did I nail it? LOL NO but hey I think it's cute so shhhhh
Ghirahim and Link both belong to Nintendo!
It was one of those upbeat, perfect days (he hadn't had very many of these in his lifetime), and, although it was early morning, Ghirahim already knew the day would be harmonious.
Lining the creek - so clear, he could notice the bottom - were cherry blossom trees; an occasional gust dropping the delicate, wrinkled pink petals on the surface, and scattered mindlessly across the ground, and drifted along the water. A flock of birds fluttered above, chirping and singing. White, heavenly clouds of dreams leisurely drifted - like they didn't have anywhere important to be. The sun - despite it being quite early - was a pale, glowing disk, revealing to Ghirahim the close rose bushes, each one delicately kissed with dew. It's the kind of day that makes people happy to be alive, even him.
Instead of saying any kind of blessing for such a lovely day, Ghirahim simply… observed. If Link was up (Link up this early? Who was he kidding?), he was quite sure the boy would make euphonious noises; childishly tugging on Ghirahim's hands, urging him to see more.
He would most likely go with him, anyway. Link was /way/ too cute to deny.
A yawn - ending with a very cute squeak - disrupted Ghirahim, and the white-clad man turned; conjuring a simpering smile as the blond slumberous stepped outside, a svelte hand rubbing at a bleary blue eye. Link was actually up, so early in the day! It was quite surprising.
The taller man stepped forward, tenderly ensconcing the boy against his chest. Link was so short! It was adorable.
"What are you doing up so early, boy? I don't recall ever seeing you up this early."
Link shrugged his sylphlike shoulders; eyes peering around him, to the scenery behind his masculine partner. His two cheek dimples were exhibited, and, even with Ghirahim's reluctance, the blond pulled away; cerulean eyes bright with delight. His pink face was lit up with joy, and he turned - much like Ghirahim had predicted - and he childishly gripped his fingers, tugging on them.
Like he said: who could tell Link no?
He allowed himself to be dragged around the yard (he already had seen everything, but he wouldn't voice that, no), enjoying the boy's delight at seeing how lovely it was. Link ended at the rose bushes; gently touching the fragile petals, with equally fragile hands. And, seeing this cute sight,
Ghirahim couldn't help but to give a tender smile.
Gah. He was too cute.
The boy squeaked as two large, masculine hands lifted his svelte frame, and deposited Link in the nearby swing, surrounded - and almost hidden, quite delightfully - by cherry blossom trees. When the Demon Lord sat, Link clambered into his lap, his blond hair resting against the other man's shoulder. Ghirahim used his foot to begin a slow pace (swinging back and forth, back and forth…), until he realized Link was asleep, happily curled against his chest.
The blond couldn't fool anyone. If he woke up early, he was bound to go back to bed very quickly. But after seeing how beautiful his home was so early…
… well, Ghirahim had a feeling Link would wake up earlier, just to spend silent moments with him to just observe and enjoy the beautiful mornings.
