Cagalli had hired Shinn to be her bodyguard after he pledged to make amends with her. At first she wasn't fond of the idea when he came to her two months after the war but she reluctantly agreed do it. It had now been seven months since The Second Bloody Valentines war had ended and things were peaceful for everyone. Except for a certain duo that were heading to a party for a niece but had to turn around halfway.
Attha Mansion
"SHINN! HURRY UP DAMMIT!" called a young blonde.
"I'm hurrying up will you stop yelling already Cagalli your hurting my damn ears." Shinn said with a stern voice.
"Well if you hadn't forgotten the damn present we wouldn't have had to turn the car around." Said Cagalli her voice sounding rather annoyed
At hearing that the young raven-haired teen sighed and lowered his head in defeat. The young blonde princess smirked at his action for she knew he could no longer argue back against her. Shinn then lifted his head and met her amber eyes as she stared back into his crimson eyes. They stood there for a while looking at each other. She looked at his and thought to herself 'they are so different from back when I saw him in the Minerva. They are no longer angry and cold but happy and warm.' She thought to herself as she continued staring at him not realizing that a smile was creeping on her face.
"Uh…. Cagalli? Is there something one my face?" Shinn said beginning to blush.
A moment of silence past.
"Cagalli? Are you there? Hey! Answer me!" His tone beginning to show some worry in it.
She giggled and shook her head. "No you don't have anything on your face Shinn" She said as she walked towards him. Shinn being confused asked the obvious question "Then why were you staring at my face?" he asked raising one of his eyebrows. She was now in front of him and he couldn't help but smell the sweet vanilla fragrance that she wore and that he secretly loved. "I was staring at your eyes. They are so warm and happy now." She said in a low voice enough for him to hear her.
He blushed a bit embarrassed not knowing how to respond but quickly decided to change the subject. "W-we s-should get going." Shinn said stuttering on his own words and mentally slapping himself for it. He started walking to the door when he heard Cagalli call him.
"Shinn." She said smiling
He slowly turned around. "Yeah?" he asked
"Your very cute when you blush" Cagalli said smiling as his faced grew red almost matching his eyes. "L-lets g-go." he said turning his face away from her hoping she wouldn't see him. She smiled again knowing she could make the young man smile and hurriedly walk to him. 'Yeah definitely different.' She thought to herself as she caught up with her raven-haired bodyguard who was still blushing.
