Greetings one and all!
I have come to you all to offer a new story prompt/challenge for the High School DxD Fandom.
Now before you leave, hear me out. Hear of a DxD story done differently.
The main focus of this story would be about an AU Humanity and no, not an 'swap current settings Humanity with a different one' but rather 'Same Humanity sent to a different world came back'
The basic backstory is this:
During the Great War God of the Bible saw that The Young Humanity was in Extinction level danger with the Three Factions fighting, and so gifted humanity with the sacred gears to help them survive. Except God of the Bible didn't consider the fact that the other factions would swoop down in an attempt take the Sacred Gears for themselves, God of the bible held them of a higher standard than that.
So after the all the supernatural factions lost some of God from the Bible respect, G.o.B rigged it so that if any Sacred Gears User was turned into anything other than human then they're abilities and growth would be hampered greatly (aka nerfed), God of the bible then started Plan B.
So while God of the Bible handled Damage Control for most of the war they were also constructing a new world for Humanity and were secretly moving humans to the new safe world. The new world is called "New Eden' it's an exact copy of the DxD world except with no devils, fallen or angels.
But, 666 showed up and God of the Bible wasn't able to continue to save humans by sending them to the new Eden. When God of the Bible's die in the Great War, they're spirit went to new Eden to see how a DxD humanity without any supernatural faction trying to control their development would look like.
The answer: OP Humanity/Stu-Humanity/Memetic Badass Humanity/etc.
Eventually, the New Eden Humanity along with the spirit of God of the Bible return to the first world (Known to New Eden Humanity as 'Old Eden') to meet up with their estranged brothers and sisters. What they weren't expecting was for the supernatural factions interfering, and pretty much ordering the New Eden Humans to leave. Which left everyone on bad terms at the start, New Eden Humans do meet the Old Eden Humans after the Spirit of God of the Bible spoke up.
From there it would be everyone's reaction to New Eden Humanity and their efforts to help improve Earth, not forcing change just offering it and showing the benefits and any drawbacks. As well as the three factions reaction to a Humanity that could have been.
As for the abilities of New Eden Humanity, these are the abilities EVERY New Eden Human has:
-Psionic Magic
-Aura Manipulation
-Chi Manipulation
-Spiritual Force Manipulation
-Supernatural Condition
-Omnilingualism
-Reactive Adaptation
-Evolution
This is pretty much baseline for New Eden Humans. And their powers just get stronger.
Their Level of Technology can be considered Advanced at minimal to Transcendent Science / Omni Science at Maximum.
And this is something that was rolling around in my head when I was thinking this up.
And when pushed into a corner, New Eden Humanity reveal one of their trump cards; their people can use Science-Magic Ascendancy (having capabilities above both science and Magic)
So, that's the idea for an OP Humanity showing up and more or less curb stomping ALL the Factions.

When I thought this up, it seemed like it would make a decent Crack Fic or a brilliant story that dealt mostly with people's emotions and character development over fight scenes.
Unfortunately, I'm already stuck with a number of other stories that I would not be able to do this one justice. So, it's free for anyone to take or use for inspiration.
