They call me Mike Schmidt. I'm a college student who has a normal life, who wants a job as a police officer. However, my parents aren't that normal. I don't know why, but my mom is always sick. A psychiatrist always come to our house every week to check on her. He still can't figure out what's wrong with her and says that it might be some sort of demon which has traumatized her.
I thought I wasn't going to get many job interviews until I saw an article asking for a night guard for hire at Freddy Fazbears Pizza. It was weird since this had been the 5th time it had been in the papers now. When this ad first appeared they hired someone and within one day. The weird thing is, the ad was back in the papers the next day. Two days after that and back in the paper again. I wanted to see what all the commotion was about so I decided to try for a job interview.
When I went for my job interview, the place already creeped me out. It had a stage with 3 animatronics singing on stage and they were children sitting in the crowds listening and singing to the songs eating pizza i could only see 3 animatronics on stage. There was Bonnie the Bunny, who was a purple bunny with a red bow tie near his neck. He had a large snout, long ears and a guitar in his arms. The second one was Chica the Chicken, who was a yellow bird with orange beak and feet and was wearing a white bib that said "LET'S EAT". She had very creepy eyes and they extended whenever her mood changed. She also had what looked like another set of teeth in her mouth, like the set of teeth was part of the animatronic endoskeleton. Finally, there was the main character Freddy the Bear. He had almost the same eyes as Chica except they didn't extend as much. He had a bow tie like Bonnie, a top hat on his head and a microphone in his right hand.
After getting a good look at the animatronics, I moved onto the office where my job interview was to be held. I must have aced the interview because I got the job. Apparently there were two other people applying, but the guy interviewing me, who I would assume would be my new boss, said I was the best fit for the job. He wanted me to start tonight from 12:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
When I got home, I told my parents about my new job. My dad seemed proud of me, but when I told mom she darted her head at me and gave me a worried look. Her face changed from worried to angry and then she turned away. I took that as disapproval, but that didn't matter. I committed to the job, so I was going to see it through.
