Hey, I hope you like this story, it's from Jasper's perspective as he meets Alice for the first time. I'm not sure if I like it yet though, so review and tell me whether to keep it or not please! :)

I kept my head down as I walked quickly and quietly through the storm. There was a little diner not too far away, I could make it there at least, right?

I walked swiftly through the door to the diner and froze.

Happiness. Excitement. Optimism.

These were the emotions surrounding the little pixie of a vampire who had come up to me. I held my breath, scared she would attack. But she simply stood in front of me, smiling. Her smile was lovely. She was lovely. She was perfect, with spiky black hair, a beautiful smile, and joyful emotions.

But her eyes.

They were a butterscotch color, an eye color that I had never seen any vampire, or human for that matter, have. Mine were so different, a dark burgundy. Her eyes even seemed to smile at me.

I relaxed my stiff position and looked down at her. She didn't mean to attack, I could understand that now.

"You've kept me waiting a long time," she said. I just stared for a moment, for her voice was like bells. And just like her, it was beautiful. I ducked my head, embarrassed, for the first time since I became I vampire.

"I'm sorry, ma'am," I said quietly. To my surprise, she laughed. Bells, again. She continued to smile as she stuck out her hand to me.

I took it without a second thought.

She led me out of the store without another word, as if she knew I would follow. And I did, of course.

It's really short, but should I keep it? Thanks for reading. :)
