I love the daytime.

Night has its charms, certainly. However, there are certain experiences that only the light of day can provide.

I lean over the open coffin, stand and watch him at his most vulnerable. In repose his face softens, and he looks almost innocent. I wonder if dreams come to him in that cold, motionless sleep.

Was he always like this? And then I realize, the answer is no. He was not always a No-Life King.

It is so easy to forget that Seras isn't human anymore - why is it so hard to remember that he once was?
