Diego was sleeping in the cave; it was very early in the morning. As Diego was sleeping, he felt a paw prod his nose, he shook it off he felt it again. He opened his eyes to see his daughter, Flora staring at him. "Come on daddy wake up." She said, "We're going to go to the meadow today remember, you promised." Diego looked at his daughter and chuckled, "Flora, it's still early in the morning, why don't we eat breakfast first, and then we'll go." "Okay daddy." Flora sighed she thought they were never going to leave. After eating breakfast, Diego and Flora said goodbye to Shira, Cash, and Bobby, and left. "Alright, come on Flora, let's go." Uh-oh wrong thing to say, Diego thought, because as soon as he said that Flora took off for the meadows. "Flora wait up!" her father yelled, but it was no use. Flora was so excited to get there, that she wasn't going to stop running until she got there. Flora got there first, "I beat you daddy!" she said, "You sure did, but next time, don't go running off w/o me ok?" "Ok." Flora said, they looked at all the pretty colors of the meadows. "C'mon daddy." The little cub started to run, roll around, and prance through the flowers. Diego looked at his daughter with a smile on his face. She was like a hyperactive fur ball sometimes. "You better run, cause I'm going to get you!" Diego said as he chase after his daughter. Diego caught his daughter with his paw. "I got you now!" Diego said laughing he set her gently back down on the ground on her back. He then started tickling her stomach with his nose, making Flora giggle. A little while later they were playing hide and seek, and Diego was looking for his daughter. "Flora." He called out, no answer. "C'mon Flora, its getting late, its time to… Diego was interrupted by something small and grey pinning him to the ground. "I got you daddy!" she said playfully, "Yes you did, but now its time to go home now Flora, you've still got to go to bed early after that stunt you pulled yesterday." "Ok daddy, I'll race you home!" Flora had gotten there first, and after eating dinner, she was ready for bed. Diego was about to go to sleep himself when he felt a paw. "Daddy, can I sleep with you?" Diego smiled warmly before allowing her to sleep on his paws. Flora climbed up and circled around on his paws before lying down. "Good night daddy." Flora said, closing her eyes. Diego gave his daughter a lick on top of her head. "Good night sweetheart." Diego could tell that they had formed a bond between the two.
