Cordelia and Jake made it to San Francisco safely, and Cordelia was so happy to be back on the ground. Sure she felt safe with Jake while they were flying, but her feet belonged on the ground.

"You should call Molly and let her know we landed," Jake told her.

"Yeah. Definately," Cordelia replied.

"Hey Molly. Yes, we made it. You already booked us a plane back? It leaves in an hour? Ok. See you in a few hours. I'll be good. (Laughs) See you soon. Bye!"

"What'd she say?"

"Well, she already has a plane booked, and it doesn't leave for another hour."

"Good. More time I have alone with you," Jake replied and leaned in for a kiss. "I'm so glad you came after me, Cordy."

"I am, too, Jake. I am, too."

They decided to go grab something to eat and kind of talk since they haven't really done that yet. The whole plane ride was spent with Jake telling Cordelia sweet nothings so she wouldn't completely freak out. It worked.

"So Jake," Cordelia started, but she stopped. What am I supposed to say? Sure I love the boy, but I don't know what to say. This is crazy.

"So Cordy," Jake replied laughing. "When did you know you liked me? The whole ride to Eureka was practically spent with us fighting."

Cordelia thought this question over for a minute. When did I start liking him? she asked herself. "You know Jake, I really don't know. Whenever you got to my house that day we left I was thinking you really changed. You got hot! But I don't know. Throughout the whole road trip I just started liking you. And that night on the beach just proved it. That was the best time of my life. That is until you walked away," Cordelia replied smiling.

Jake smiled back and grabbed her hand. "I get what you're saying. There was just something about you when I picked you up that day. You looked different, but you acted the same," Jake said laughing.

Before he could say anymore an announcement was made for everyone on their flight to start heading that way and loading up tha plane. They got up together and walked hand-in-hand to their entrance gate.

This is going to be one hell of a summer now, Cordelia thought smiling.
