I hate Mondays.
That was the thought that went through my head when i woke up floating in water.
I was also clad in what looked like various pieces of naval machinery. So I'm a shipgirl now apparently.
And assuming this is like the game, the black little shits will be fucking everywhere. Including Re-classes.
Now...how do I get around?

After around half an hour of me re my (terrible) skill at ice-skating, I finally discovered-to my embarassment-that you could summon your hull as a fully functioning ship.
Speaking of the hull, I'm USS Shangri-La now. After the SCB upgrades.
I barely remember sinking Haruna, and Nam was just sending the same sorties every few days over and over again. The only things even remotely exciting were when they modernized my aircraft. And when i got rammed by the Newman K. Perry.
Then I was mothaballed for 11 years and scrapped. Awfully boring career, wouldn't you say?
Oh well, time to stop moping and get to sailing.
A little while later, the Hawkeye I sent out sent me some data.
Huh? What's this?

The two I-classes escorts were bored. Very much so. Who wouldn't if they were assigned to escort a small convoy heading to the middle of nowhere?
Did you hear the scuttlebutt?
"What are you even talking about?"
"Last week someone captured one of the Town sisters!"
"Wow, how did they do that?"
"Apparently in a battle, her boiler got hit and she was dead in the water. She told her crew to ready the scuttling charges, but a boarding party took control of the ship and she's now a prisoner."
"Sweet! Hey, what do you want to do when we get to Gibraltar?"
The ships were so engrossed in their conversation, they didn't see the two fireballs streaking towards them until it was too late.

The Maverick might be old compared to the Harpoon, but it certainly does the job well.

13 days later
"Thank you for the briefing on the situation in the North Atlantic, Nelson. Now if there is anything else that needs to be reported?"
"Convoy SL-09 has not arrived in Gibraltar on schedule."
"Strange. I remember that this convoy has never had a delay in shipping before."
"Could it be the result of an enemy attack?"
"Possible but unlikely. However, tell other convoys to be more alert till further notice."
