Hey. Just letting you know, for you lemon-er's out there, this is deffs not one! Enjoy(:

I turned the corner.

"N-Naruto-kun!" I gasped as Naruto stepped out from behind a rose bush.

"Ah, Hinata-chan, I heard it was your birthday! So, happy birthday!" He grinned, his smile infectious and warm, as he held out a small and petite bouquet of pansies.

"Small and delicate, just like you!" He smiled, holding them out. I turned red. How did everyone know it was my birthday?

"You saying that she's a pansy, Naruto-dobe?" Came a monotone voice from behind me. I spun around.

S-Sasuke-kun?

"Happy birthday, Hinata-chan." He said, his dark eyes looking into mine. I flushed another ugly shade of red. He held out a long stemmed rose and gave the tiniest of smiles to me.

Oh, dang, I guess nobody knew.

I turned redder.

"Hinata-sama! Here are my undying flowers of youth! Daisies!"

Lee ran out in his tracksuit, holding his bouquet of expected daisies. He flashed me a smile and his normal good guy pose before shoving the flowers in my face. I turned a unlady-like shade of purple.

"Hinata-nee. Happy birthday." Neji called, his face unusually soft as he presented wildflowers the colour of my- our, actually, eyes.

"Hinata-chan, business has been booming at the flower shop, so there are heaps of people headed here! Haha, have a great day!" Ino cheered, holding out a beautiful array of primroses.

Oh no.

"Hinata! Jasmines!"

"Magnolias!"

"Ixora!"

"Daffodil!"

"Tulips!"

"For you! Cha!"

"Here! Take 'em!"

I couldn't take it. I took them all and said my thank you's. My hands were red as well. My face was burning hot, hot hot...

A pair of sturdy hands grabbed me by the shoulders and pulled me back into a dark blueberry bush.

"Eh? Where did Hinata go?"

I turned and Kiba's wild eyes looked into my pale ones.

"Sorry, Hinata-chan, I figured they didn't know you were allergic to flowers, and you'd probably be too nice to tell 'em, so I came as fast as I could." He said sheepishly as he crouched down next to me, in the pile of leaves, sheltered away from the sun.

"O-Oh, it's fine K-"

"And I didn't know what to get you," He interrupted, hastily, "Because I'm not a lady person. But I guess you'll have to put up with this."

He leaned in and pressed a soft kiss to my cheek, before blushing fiercely.

"Happy birthday, Hinata-chan."
