on halloween night

when the moon shines bright

the ghouls of the graveyard

and the ghosts of the town

all come together

and move to the sound

they wriggle

and spin

and give a twirl

as the skeleton man dances with his undead girl

tis the hallows eve ball

and all is quite nice

the dance floor is fog

and the air feels like ice

And as all they all dance by the light of the moon

their spinning and dancing to that erie tune

no one could see as a pair slipped away

jack and sally danced as the music did play

they danced their way up to the top of the hill

the now quiet night seemed rather still

with the stars as their witness they shared in a kiss

and returned to the dance before they where missed

the following christmas jack took her aside

bent down on that hill top and asked sally to be his bride
