Learning Activity 6-A-1

Just back from the land of RuneScape is humble quester Narosue-55. Journeying throughout the land I have learned much and helped others along my path. My map and trusty compass have kept me on the proper course as I journey and I am fleet of foot in my travels. One particular jaunt took me to the Lumbridge Church where I met Father Aereck. He told me of a ghost that was haunting the graveyard by the church and sought my assistance in ridding the graveyard of this ghost. I felt fearful as I had never encountered a ghost; Father Aereck suggested I find Father Urhney and speak with him for advice in this quest.

Father Urhney's abode was a small house in Lumbridge swamp. I was troubled as I began traveling into the swamp, but carried my trusty burning torch which lit my way. After some searching, and by consulting my map frequently, I found Father Urhney's house and began to speak with him. He seemed bad-tempered at first, then I understood I had interrupted his meditation. Eventually, he gave me a Ghostspeak Amulet and said it would allow me to speak to the ghost that was haunting the graveyard. Father Urhney told me I would find the ghost in the coffin inside the shed. I ran back to the graveyard and struggled somewhat finding the coffin. Being unfamiliar with graveyards, I could not tell the difference between the crypt and the shed. I went to the crypt first and solved a little problem for another woman I met who needed my help.

Eventually I found the shed and coffin inside. I opened the coffin and out came the ghost. At first I was terrified, but then remembered the special Ghostpeak Amulet. I put on the Amulet and began conversing with the ghost. A sad tale he had to tell about the day he was mining and lost his head. He would be unable to rest in peace until his head was reunited with his body. He told me to go back to the swamp, which I did and headed south to the mining rocks.

Attacked at first by a warlock I had to slay, I soon found the skull and brought it back to the ghost. Once he and his head were reunited, the ghost was able to rest in peace, never more to haunt the graveyard of Lumbridge Church.
